Luhan POV

I stumbled up to the large house, clutching my side. The kicks to the ribs had been painful, but the loss of my mate hurt the most. They turned him feral, now he doesn't recognize me anymore. I lost my mate...

I wiped the blood off my face, and rang the bell, stealing occasional looks over my shoulder. Come on Hoseok, answer the damn door.

A wolf call pierced the night time silence and I shivered. I knew that howl.

He's coming faster than I thought he would.

I blacked out as the door opened, revealing a scared Wonho.

"Luhan-"

Hyungwon POV

"Hoseok! Can you get the door? Someone rang the bell! I would but I'm busy trying to get Jinorra to eat her greens!" I shouted from the dining room, holding a spoon of salad in front of my precious baby girl.

"No! Mommy, I want cupcake!" I sighed. Fucking Jooheon spoiled her and now she won't eat her greens.

"Hyungwon! Call Mia now!" I jumped, startled by the shout from my mate.  I turned to see him carrying a limp Luhan inside the living room. I rushed to grab my phone resting on teh kitchen counter, dialing Mia's number with shaky fingers.

"Hello?"

"M-Mia, Hoseok needs you down h-here now p-please."

"Hyungwon? What's wrong? I'm about to go hunt, please what is happening?"

"Luhan is here, but he's hurt. Please Mia, we need you here now."

"Ok, just hold on, I'm on my way now."

*click*

The line went dead and I rushed to get Jinorra upstairs into her room.

"Mommy? Why wath daddy carrying that man?" She asked as I tugged a shirt over her head, tilting her head at me curiously.

"He was hurt pumpkin, so daddy and mommy called Aunty Mia to help take care of him." I said, holding out a pair of shorts for her to step into. She clung to my shoulders to keep steady, stepping one foot in at a time. I picked her up and gently tucked her in, playing soft classical music for her to sleep to.

"Mommy?" Her voice made me pause as I was shutting the door.

"Yes sweetheart?"

"Tell the man I'm thorry about hith mate." Were her last words before she rolled over and fell asleep.

With my mind buzzing, I raced downstairs, just in time to see Mia bound into the house, a huge white wolf with golden eyes as her form. My eye twitched in annoyance. I don't like big animals in the house, even if they are hybrids.

Before I could say something, she shifted and took in the pale and shivering figure on my couch. I took a closer look at Luhan and gasped. His veins were turning green and his skin was taking on a sickly grey color.

"His mate cut ties with him..." Hoseok whispered to me, gently backhugging me, his hands resting protectively on my tummy. Poor Luhannie. I never met his mate, but the guy was obviously an idiot.

"Mia, what are we gonna do?" She stopped checking Luhan to look at us carefully.

"First, we gotta get rid of that wolf that's stalking the house. I'm guessing that is Luhan's ex-mate. Next, we gotta help Luhan through the de-mating process. His body is gonna be extremely weak after this so he needs plenty of rest."

"Mia, do you think you could get rid of the wolf? You're the strongest out of all of us." I looked at her with my puppy eyes. She closed her eyes and groaned.

"Yes, I can. Just, whatever you hear, don't come outside. Once I'm in my bloodlust I won't be able to tell friend from enemy." With that, she walked outside, morphing back into her wolf form. Throwing her head back, she howled her challenge and took off into the night.

A piercing cry came from Jinorra's room forcing me to stand up with Hoseok. "Hyungwon-ah, you stay here and watch over Luhan, I'll go see to Jinorra." He pecked my cheek before sprinting upstairs.

After a few minutes, a noise came from the back door. Turning slightly, I saw a midnight black wolf with gold eyes staring at me. Thinking to myself why Mia didn't just walk in, I walked over and opened the door.

That's when it hit me...

Mia was a white wolf....

Luhan bolted upright, his eyes wide and red.

"SEHUN-AH!" The midnight wolf snarled and lunged for me as I curled into a ball, unconsciously trying to protect my baby. A streak of white and Mai jumped onto the black wolf, snarling her authority. The black wolf growled and turned into a tall male with white blonde hair.

Turning to face the pale Luhan he grinned evilly, his eyes a sick black color. "I'll be back for you Luhan, and when I do, you won't have your protector to save you." With that he vanished. I turned to Luhan, my face pink with fury.

"You owe me and Hoseok a damn good explanation for this Luhan, tonight."
