Levi
I awoke in a foreign bed.
"Where am I?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. When I opened them, I was face-to-face with Eren-fucking-Jaeger. "Why are you staring at me?"
"I'm not staring at you." He replied defensively, "I was trying to figure out if you were awake or not."
"How long were you watching me?"
"A minute or two, in intervals."
I stretched, looking him over. "Not bad, brat."
He giggled, cuddling deeper into the thick duvet. "Thanks."
I started playing with my hair. "I guess I promised you a breakfast date."
"You did." He replied, "Are you cooking or are you taking me somewhere?"
"Don't know how to cook." I shrugged. "Where do you want to go?"
The brunet shrugged back. "Surprise me."
I usually had servants make me food. Izzy and Far usually took care of my food.
Biting my lip, I brought my eyebrows together in thought until I remembered that there was an AoD run diner, as it was Sin City.
"Get dressed. Oh... um... fu- fish sticks." I scowled at how I had to stay undercover and couldn't just yell 'fuck' at the top of my lungs.
Eren cocked his head, sitting up. "What?"
"I don't have clothes..."
"Oh, uh, take these." He said, looking through his dresser until he found suitable clothes for me to wear. He pulled out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a muscle top, along with a light grey hoodie.
Putting them on in the bathroom, I started to talk to the brunet. "Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if you were an AoD?"
"I do sometimes. I feel like AoDs have more freedom, less rules to bind them... but I guess I can't judge unless I've tried it myself. But I can't do that, because fallen angels can't rise back up and what if I don't like it?"
"AoDs don't have all the things that they have to do, but I guess you might not like it. Although... there are also less things that you can't do. A lot less."
"No churches, no crosses..." Eren said quietly.
"That a problem?"
"I guess I was just brought up around things like churches and crosses, and holy water and stuff. It's just be weird, I guess." He replied.
I walked out and saw him changed into some light blue jeans and a baggy teal hoodie, unsure of what top he had on. "Your father didn't have all of those things, though I doubt you actually got to go down low."
"I only met him a few times." The brunet explained, "And although my father didn't have those things, that's what he grew up to know. I grew up as an AoL." He shrugged. "I'd like to get to know an AoD, talk to them properly. I wonder if they're nice..."
"Who knows." I grabbed his hand and led us to the exit/entrance. "How do you want to get there...?"
"I don't know the way, so it's up to you."
"Uber it is." I brought out my iPhone and texted Erwin, telling him to pretend to be human.
He nodded, looking at me awkwardly.
"What's wrong?"
"I just don't know what to say."
"Whatever you want."
