Levi and I talked, though not much face-to-face. It was difficult to have a 'normal' relationship when we were different types of angels. It reminded me of 'Romeo and Juliet', except we were guys, angels, and I didn't really have a family to disapprove of him.

I wouldn't really say Mikasa reacted badly when I told her everything. She was quite calm about the situation... once she'd gotten past the whole 'son of Lucifer' thing. I think that threw her a little.

It was Sunday again, and despite how good Sundays felt as an AoL it didn't feel as nice as it used to. It was bittersweet. Once it held a hope for my future, now it held an empty dream.

I sighed, pulling my phone from my pocket and trying to FaceTime Levi. I hadn't spent much time up above lately, wanting to stay within a close radius of my apartment just in case the raven came to visit.

"Oi, what's up?" Levi asked tiredly, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes as he lied on his lavish bed.

"Sorry it's out of the blue," I apologised, smiling regardless at the fact that he'd picked up. "I just wanted to see you, I guess."

He started fixing his hair. "Sorry. I look like shit. I like to sleep all Sunday."

"You never look like sh-" I sighed at how I couldn't say the word. "You never look bad." I rephrased.

Levi stretched, his robe falling open, revealing a necklace with three grey feathers. "Thanks. You aren't too bad yourself."

I smiled. "You said I'm not too bad, but you still have those."

He looked down. "Eh. I have needs. I need physical contact and this is as close as I've been getting."

"You can visit whenever. It'd be nice to be able to touch you, feel your real wings." I replied, fiddling with the hem of my shirt. "M-Maybe I could have some of your feathers too."

Levi smirked. "I'll be over tomorrow. I'll probably spend the night. We should go out and about at night though."

"Hmm?" I cocked my head, "Why?"

"It's fun."

"Cuddling and sleeping is fun too."

"We could do that in the morning and when we get back," he said softly.

"Sounds like a plan." I responded, my voice unintentionally softening in what I assumed was an act of affection. Like a 'wow, he really thinks about me and that's cute' kind of way.

"Be prepared for me." He winked, the feathers brushing against his collarbone.

"I have absolutely no idea how to 'prepare' myself."

"Clean house. I'm not going to fuck you no matter how much I may or may not want to."

I felt my cheeks flare. "W-Why do you think we'd have sex?!"

"Cause normally AoDs have sex as soon as they light up. So technically, we haven't undergone any mating rituals yet."

"We sort of flew together, but I guess it's pretty different in the actual ritual, isn't it?"

"It is. Everything is a lot more intimate or sexual on the AoD side," he explained.

"Sexual in what sort of sense? You make it sound like you fly and make out in the sky or something." I joked.

"The atmosphere just feels kind of seductive." Levi shrugged. "I mean, I can give you a look and you'll get all 'hot and bothered.'"

"I knew you were doing something weird when you looked at me!" I threw my hands up, "And that diner, the one that made me tingly, was there a reason behind that too?"
