Introductions to Angels

What Angels of Light are Forbidden From Doing:
- Cursing (so they say other things. It's not like they're not allowed to, they literally can't)
- Using the lord's name in vain
- Stealing (they'll get burned)
- Lying/false witness (they'll choke on their tongue)
- Cannot murder (they can't. It's impossible.)
- Adultery
- Getting drunk (they don't need to stop drinking, they just can't get drunk. Their bodies won't allow it)
- Being rich (if they're rich, then they haven't been donating as needed)

Things Angels of Light Have to Do:
- Donate to the poor
- Be nice to everyone
- If they see a cross, they have to stop and pray
- Pray before meals
- Wear a cross/rosary
- Go to church at least twice a month (if staying in the human world)

Things Angels of Darkness/Demons Are Forbidden From Doing:
- Saying/writing/spelling/signing "God" (it causes intensive pain)
- Touching holy water
- Wearing a cross/rosary
- Stepping foot in a church
- Flying on Sundays or other holy days (the sun and moon on the holy day cause them immense pain and they'll lose their feathers, blister, and bleed from their wings.

Things Angels of Darkness/Demons Have to Do:
- Nothing. They're creatures of destruction and chaos

How Mating Works:
Mating is a semi-complicated process where an angel (both light and dark) looks in search of their partner. In most cases, an angel has to search and date someone and after a while of getting to know each other, the pair's wings will light up (white for Light, red for Darkness). In some very rare cases, the pair's wings will light up upon meeting. It's kind of similar to how humans look around, just a little more magical.

Rejection:
Rejection is when one of the party rejects their mate. The pair will no longer be mates anymore and the one rejected will forever feel empty and will never find another mate. The one who does the rejection can find a secondary mate, but that's not always the case.

Secondary Mates:
Secondary mates are mated pairs that occur if both parties lost their mate due to tragedy and/or rejection. Secondary mates do not share a bond as powerful as primary mates and they light up, just not as brightly.

Aging:
Angels years are timed the same as human years, but their physical appearance follows a 5:1 ratio. When they are 5 angel years old, they look like a 1 year old in human terms. They stop physically aging at about 40 in human years, though they continue to get older.
