Warm - Blooded Pt. 2

"Eunbi, what are you doing there with that piece of dangerous shit?! Get over here NOW!"

Eunbi turned around looking very shock and what she just saw, a bunch of military soldiers pointing their guns right at Y/N's head.

And there, her father stood in between the chaos as the soldiers were fighting against the zombies that are soon surrounding them.

The soldiers just simply aimed their AKs at the zombies and pulled the trigger without any hesitation.

Eunbi's father then held up his pistol, ready to shoot Y/N in the head while he wasn't paying any attention.

"FATHER NO!!" That voice caught her father's attention. 

Eunbi POV 

Out of desperation, I just shouted at my father and stood in front of Y/N while spreading my arms wide.

I needed to think of a quick idea before Father does anything reckless tp Y/N.

"Father, there is a cure for them! Y/N is not what you think he is! He is starting to change, he is becoming more humane...Trust me on this one..."

Father raised his eyebrows and slowly lowered his gun, "What nonsense are you sprouting Eunbi?"

"Dad, please...just give me time and I will prove it to you..."

"I will not risk my daughter's life for this stupid cure that you are speaking of! I will never!"

"Dad! Please...just this once...Look at me, I am not hurt, right? That's because Y/N has been taking great care of me for the past few weeks..."

Father just looked at me with suspicious looks and just sighed and walked off.

He stopped in his tracks and turned around to face me, "I'll be back in two weeks and I'd better see this progress when I come back or else...I'll kill off every single zombie that exist in this state!"

As the army left, I turned to Y/N who was looking at me in sorrow in his eyes.

I took the entire week trying to figure out what possible ways can the zombies be cured but it just didn't seem to work out for me.

Before I knew it, a week has passed and my father soon came to me.

"So, where is this cure that you were talking about last week?"

"I'm still working on it..."

"Ha! Then I shall wipe out all the existence of these zombies then! Hahahahaha!"

"Y/N, RUN!"

I held Y/N's hand and ran away from my father as I heard some men chasing after us.

As we ran where our legs would take us, we met a dead end, and the only way to escape was to jump down.

I looked down and there was a deep puddle of water at the bottom.

The army soon caught up after us and I just held Y/N's hand and jumped. 

I closed my eyes as I hit the cold water, I swam to the top and searched for Y/N who then swam to the surface as I called his name.

I looked into his eyes and...

Y/N POV

Eunbi looked into my eyes and then held my chin up. Oh my god, what is this feeling in my body?

Eunbi planted a passionate and soft kiss on my lips, we pulled away when oxygen became a problem.

Eunbi POV 

We pulled away and I looked into Y/N's eyes to see something I haven't seen in my life, color.

I saw the color in Y/N's eyes for the first time, I smiled at him and he smiled back but things soon went downhill from there.

A loud 'bang' was heard before Y/N told me that he felt pain for the first time.

I looked down to see blood soon started to fill the puddle of water.

I saw my father hold a pistol in his hands and a bullet wound in Y/N's side.

"DAD! What do you think you're doing?!"

Suddenly, something hit me hard. Y/N's blood...it's not something that zombies can do...it's something that humans do!

And the change of Y/N's eye color, it's not colorless anymore...it's Y/E/C!

"Dad! Stop! Y/N's changed, can't you see? He's bleeding and zombies don't bleed..."

Father paused for a second before taking a good look at Y/N and warily lowered his gun.

1 year later...

"So, do you still remember how we met?" I asked Y/N and he chuckled.

"Of course, we met in the most unrealistic way possible...how are we going to tell our kids? Like oh, I met your mother when I was a zombie?!"

The two of laugh at that sudden thought as we looked out at the prosperous city from our apartment building.

I'm really happy that the war ended in peace and that I met Y/N.

SO TO EXPLAIN ALL OF THIS: 1. I WAS IN TAIWAN FOR A PERIOD OF TIME [23 DEC - 2 JAN] WITH MY FAMILY SO I DIDN'T REALLY HAVE THE TIME TO UPDATE AND ALSO PART OF ME WAS ALWAYS FEELING LAZY. 2. MY PHONE IS CONFISCATED AND I AM UPDATING THIS CHAPTER THROUGH THE COMPUTER SO...YEAH.... 3. I AM WORKING ON 3 NEW STORIES THAT I AM DECIDING TO PUBLISH THIS YEAR SO... 4. SCHOOL IS STARTING AND LIKE THINGS ARE GOING WELL EXCEPT FOR MY SEATING ARRANGEMENT I GUESS...LIKE I CAN'T SEEM TO CONCENTRATE WHENEVER IM ON THAT SEAT AND THE MATH TEACHER DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO CHANGE SEATS. BUT I SECRETLY SIT WITH MY FRIEND AND PLAYS IT OFF AS MY PERMANENT SEAT SO LIKE I GO BACK TO MY ORIGINAL SEAT ON DURING MATH LESSONS WHICH SUCKSSSSS...OKAY, I THINK I AM RANTING TOO MUCH RIGHT NOW SO, DO LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT CHAPTER!
