Patching Each Other Up (part two)

"Hiro, I swear to GOD, if you went bot fighting agai-"

Tadashi starts yelling at Hiro but is cut off when he sees tears on his face, the anger apparent in his expression immediately replaced with concern as he starts rushing over to Hiro, stopping in his tracks the second he sees you standing there, bandages covering your abdomen. You can see overwhelmingly high levels of panic and concern rise up in Tadashi, but not before anger and a sense of awe and confusion show up in his eyes.

He looks at Hiro and points a finger towards him.

"You went bot fighting again didn't you?" he asks.

Hiro sheepishly nods in response, looking at the ground beneath his feet.

"And Y/N saved your ass, didn't they?" he asks again, more confirming things than actually asking questions at this point.

Hiro nods again, tears dropping onto the hardwood floor.

Tadashi sighs and tears well up in his eyes as he stand there, running a hand through his hair, trying to process what the hell happened. He looks at you, then back at Hiro, then his gaze returns to you and then moves to Hiro again. He does this a few times and then stops when he see the bullet hole in your ear. His eyes are brimming with tears at this point.

"Is that..." he asks you, his voice trailing off.

You purse your lips and nod once.

He stands there in shock, tears spilling over, trying to put the pieces together. He turns to face Hiro, but this time, there's anger in his eyes.

"Hiro," Tadashi says, his voice cool and soft with rage.

You stop for a second. You've never heard Tadashi use that voice before.

"Tadashi," you say in the calmest voice you can come up with.

He either ignores you or doesn't hear you. Hiro barely looks up at his older brother, scared by the voice that he likely hasn't heard before either. You don't blame him.

"Look at me," Tadashi orders.

Hiro obeys. Your blood runs cold at the sound of Tadashi's voice at this point. You don't like it, and it needs to stop.

"Tadashi," you say, louder this time.

Still no response - at least for you.

"You went bot fighting," Tadashi begins, "and got your sorry ass in trouble. And thankfully, they saved you," he says, pointing in your direction.

Hiro gulps and nods, confirming what Tadashi is saying.

You consider walking over to him to get his attention, but honestly, with him acting like this, it was scaring you too. It was so unlike him to do anything even remotely like this.

So you and Hiro stand there in silence, watching Tadashi put his hands on Hiro's shoulders, gripping tightly.

"YOU ALMOST GOT THEM KILLED!" Tadashi practically yells, the sadness replacing the coldness in his voice. You're somewhat startled by the noise, but glad that Tadashi is acting more like himself now, even though hearing teh heartbreak in his voice is tearing you apart.

"YOU ALMOST GOT YOURSELF KILLED- BOTH OF YOU COULD'VE DIED," Tadashi yells, shaking Hiro back and forth, "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?!"

It looks like he's about to collapse onto the ground, but he keeps on going.

He really shouldn't be, you think, he needs to stop.

"Tadashi," you say, even louder this time, but he still doesn't notice.
