Tobias' Pov

"Please!" I heard K say, and what happened next was just magic.

One minute ago, I was overwhelmed by the demons. I had no control over my body, my emotions, and my thoughts. Who knows how many times this had happened to me, ever since She left. However, the moment I felt her arms embrace me from the back...

It was as if time had stopped.

For the first time in a thousand years, I controlled the demons. Ever since she was gone, they have been running wild. Whenever my emotions get high or low, they will come out. All they ever did was kill, destroy, and hate.

Slowly, I felt the demons let go of my body. My breathings were able to go back to normal, and probably by now, my eyes had returned to their normal colors. I stared down at the half-vampire half-witch in front of me, she was shivering in fear, and there were bloodstains all over her.

Ah, yes! She was one of the witches that helped with erasing Katerina's memories!

Normally, I would punch her and beat her until she couldn't move anymore, then I would feed her some dog-blood so that she would not die. However, now, all I want to do is to be with her.

Yes, my mate.

Gently, I placed my hands on hers, and when our skins touched, I was sure, both of us felt the fire ignite between us. How I missed this feeling... For a thousand years I searched for her, and now she is finally here with me. Mine forever...

Beth's Pov:

"Are you ok now?" I asked as Tobias and I both sat awkwardly on the edge of the bed I slept on last night.

"Yea... Thank you..." He answered as he rubbed his thumb playfully against the back of my hand.

"I mean, I didn't do anything. I just... well, I don't know. I just gave you a hug, that's all." I answered, a blush appearing on my face.

"For me, it was more than a hug," Tobias said as he turned his face toward me. "It may sound weird to you, but..."

"No, it doesn't." I interrupted him before I was able to stop myself.

"Right." He answered, and laughed.

After that, we talked about random things. He mentioned that the room I am in now, would be my new room, and he was planning to get me a maid. I told him it was totally unnecessary, but when he mentioned that the maid will clean my room, and do my laundry, I gave in. We also talked about dinner with Tobias' mother, hearing the way he talked about her, I could tell he was a "mommy's boy". Even though he was already over 1000 years old.

How ironic.

"Hey, what are you going to do with Irina?" I asked out of concern, for some reason I felt very protective of her.

"Um, I don't know. Feed her to the dogs." Tobias laughed as if it was supposed to be funny. "I mean after all she did to you, she deserves a way worse death, don't you think..." He stopped talking when he saw how angry I was when he said all that. "What's wrong?"
