I drank blood... Worse, vampire blood!

"You know what, you really scared her." Flame said quietly. For sure he read my mind again.

"Let me explain this simply. When any living creature drinks even a little bit of vampire blood, their wounds will heal much quicker than usual. I'm sure how much you know about us, but we're immortal." Tobias said grouchily and stood up. He disappeared at lightning speed and came back with a fruit knife in his hand. He stabbed the knife in his left hand without hesitation, his blood gushed out like a fountain, but in 5 seconds it was healed.

"Oh my God... That's disgusting!" I whined.

"That's nothing compared to your head last night." Tobias murmured, and his jaws tightened. He walked past me and started typing away on his computer with earphones on. Flame just shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the bathroom.

For the rest of the ride, there was just...

Silence.

And silence. Until, after what felt like hours.

"We're almost there." Jesting suddenly said out of nowhere, trying to start a conversation. "You would be meeting a lot of..."

"Vampires." I finished for him.

"Yeah.' Jestin said softly. "Just hope you aren't scared."

"Why would I be scared. It's not as if I've never met one before." I laughed awkwardly. "Plus, you're one and I'm not scared of you."

"You said that to me before too," Jestin said, finally looking at me in the eyes. "When I found you."

"When you found me?"

"Yeah... Let me officially introduce ourselves.

"As you should already know, Tobias and Flame are brothers. Flame was adopted into Tobias' family when he was 3 years old. He also has a younger sister called Snow. Tobias and I are cousins because our fathers were brothers. The three basically grew up as brothers. Anyways. About a thousand years ago. I killed my mother's pet bat, well... She was so upset at me, so she said I can't have any...Food, well... Blood... For 2 days. For a vampire, especially a young born vampire, no blood for 2 days was like... Torture. It would be like no water or food for 2 days for humans, but way worse. So, I decided to run away from home. I was 3 years old at the time. I ran and ran through the woods until I ran all the way over to a human village. I didn't know what to do... There were people everywhere... But for me... It was like walking food everywhere. I was so hungry after all the running. Until I saw this little girl with a very special type of blond hair. She was walking with another woman who has the same hair color but a little darker... The girl looked very sad and angry. Something about her made me forget the hunger in my stomach. I followed her. I followed and followed until I saw the lady led her to a bench, said something, and walked away. The girl just sat there, she looked like she wanted to stand up but couldn't.

"I walked over to her and asked what she was doing? She just looked at me with angry eyes. Then I asked where her mom was, she just glared at me. Why don't you stand up? I asked her. Then she jumped up and gave me a big smile. She pointed at her mouth, again and again. Then she pointed at my mouth. 'You want to talk?' I asked. Then she nodded her head violently. 'Talk then!' I said. I can never forget the grateful look she gave that day. She was so happy and thanked me again and again. Gosh! This story is getting so long! Anyways, the little girl told me that she was a witch and that lady did a spell on her, that she can't move or talk until someone that's not human tells her to stand up or talk.

"She asked if I was a warlock, of course, I said no. Next, she kept asking me about who I was, where I came from, which tribe I belonged to. I told her to go away, but she just began to follow me. She followed me all the way inside the woods. It was starting to get fun, so I just purposely slowed down to let her catch up to me. Maybe I can let Tobias and Flame see her too. So... Well... As the story goes on, she ended up to be Tobias' mate."

"O... Okay?" I answered. The story was really long. "So that little girl was..."

'"Yeah. She was you!" Flame said suddenly. I didn't even know that he was sitting on the other side of me. "You were so cute back then... Your little curly hair. It was my favorite to pull your hair."

"Yes, of course... but, to be honest, I hate people touching my hair." I sighed.

"Are you guys done talking about the stupid past," Tobias said grouchily, putting his earphones and computer away. "We're here."

"Yeah!" Flame shouted happily. "You have to go see my mom! She misses you soooooo much!!!!"

'"You're way too hyper, Flame." Jestin complained.

"Katerina? It's time to meet my parents." Tobias said politely. The door opened, and Tobias motioned me to walk out first. Everything was dark outside, in fact, it was quite cold also. I shivered and rubbed my arms. Then I felt someone throw their jacket on me. I turned around, it was Tobias' jacket.

"Wear it. if you're cold. And get in the car."

"So grouchy..." I whispered purposely, knowing that he can hear me.

Flame burst out laughing but stopped the moment Tobias glared at him. Ever since we got off the plane, the boys seemed to act more seriously. Flame and Jestin both seemed to be paying Tobias some kind of respect.

"Fine, thanks," I said sarcastically and put on the jacket. His jacket was heavy but super warm. Most importantly, it smelled so good like mint.

The smell of Tobias... I love it... Wait, did I just think that?!!!

Tobias and I got into the first car, Flame and Kevyn got into the second car. The moment Tobias closed the car door, the car drove off.

"Welcome back, your majesty, and... Miss Katerina."
