The masked woman watched as the two villains laid there breathless from the amount of hits they have taken from her.
Blood was splattered everywhere in the dark alley where they stood.
It was night and the only light that could shine on them was from the pale moon. The small sparkle of blood that went down the walls like tear drops, the way there was small lakes of red that shimmered in silence, and the oozing liquid that went down their faces was a clear picture to see if in broad daylight.
People would mistake it as a massacre if they were to see this scene unfold, but it wasn't.
Although, it was indeed something that could have happened if the heroine didn't stop the villains from committing a dangerous act.
She stared at them with unstirred eyes. She was growing tired of seeing these type of villains. They didn't seem like human beings to her. No, far from that.
They were inhuman monsters that only cared about themselves, and they had the will to end a life without a second thought. The lust of greed and selfishness was visible in their eyes. It was the same look she could recall when thinking of her older sister, the mother of her nieces.
How disgusting.
A dry chuckle came out of one of the villains. Gem was her name. Her pink eyes were closed due to her small fit of laughter that was taking hold of her.
"Masked Hero...." her laugh slowly grew. Her teeth was being visible as a smile formed on her face with mockery. "Or whoever the hell you are..."
She grinned for a moment before eyeing the heroine in front of her. She tilted her head as she felt drowsiness kick in.
She shook her head. "No...you're not her. Not even close."
Silence.
The heroine watched as Gem laid unconscious with her comrade a few feet away from her, Huntress.
She was stuck sitting up with her head low due to the lack of strength she had left in her. Blood dripped from her head as she tried to keep her vision clear on her colleague. Her dark red hair covered most of her face. Her yellow eyes were barely visible, but her breathing was audible enough for the heroine to know she was still awake.
The heroine walked closer to the villain. Her footsteps echoed in the darkness as the villain tried her best to raise her head up to look at her, but all she was able to see was the Masked Hero's feet slowly draw closer to her.
Before she could let drowsiness take a hold of her, she used the last of her strength to speak to the mystery woman.
"...M-monster..."

"Everyone! We're being attacked by two villains! It's possible that there are more! Everyone who can move, get back to camp immediately! Even if you come across an enemy, retreat and do not engage!" I heard Mandalay say in my head.
Mandalay told the rest of us to head back to safety, but I really wish I didn't.
I wanted to go and help her and everyone else. They could still be in trouble, including Midoriya. How could he just run off like that but I couldn't?
I remember the look in her eyes when I told her I wanted to go and help. It was a look I never thought she would give me. It was a look a mother would give to her child when they ask for something unreasonable.
It was stern but anxious. I didn't understand why.
I'm only a hero in training like Midoriya. Why couldn't I go like he did? It's not like I'm going to get myself killed! Heck, Midoriya will need my help if he's going to go save Kota! Who knows what he'll be up against!?
