You know how when you're little, and you think that you have your whole life figured out? How there isn't a care in the world, and the world is yours? The sky is the limit, but yet you wanna leave footprints on the moon? And yet, even if you miss the moon, you still believe that you will land among the stars? And that the stars, they'll help you shine and never give up on you?
Yea...I had those thoughts too, those feelings. Hell, everyone has had those thoughts at one point or another. They're great aren't they? The feeling of being infinite? The hope? That's one thing we can only hope to preserve, hope. A single four letter word. Hope. But, then you slowly figure out that, and it doesn't matter how hard you try to convince yourself that you're wrong, that the sky isn't the limit, and that when you don't land on the moon, you won't land among the stars. Instead, you fall back to earth, square 1. And if you somehow manage to fly among the stars, you slowly find out how cruel the stars are and you realize falling back to earth would've been so so so much better.
If you haven't had these thoughts, lucky you, congrats. I....i'm not as lucky. You haven't been ripped from the only home you know, or so hurt that the pain seems to never stop, that is wants to consume you. Yet, when it does, you feel something missing; you realize that the pain kept you feeling something because you couldn't feel anything else. Or maybe you're so broken, or maybe it's you're life that is so broken, no one, nothing can fix it. If you have ever felt or thought of any of these, I first want to apologize, no one should have to. Second, I wan to tell you, no matter how alone you feel, you aren't alone.
