The sky is shining with stars, and he wonders if she's one of them now.

He looks down at his hands, these same hands that ended everything, these same hands that ended her.

He knew, there was no way she would accept him. Not because she didn't have the same feelings towards him, no, but because she was a princess, and he was just a general. He doesn't belong to The Royal Family whatsoever; he would have never had a chance with her.

Even though it would've meant the world for him if she only felt the same way towards him.

Cursed lovers, he thought they were, but her story with the other man is even more cursed. Of course, what princess would fall in love with a horseman?

He wonders if the horseman wasn't there, would she have fallen in love with him?

"General Min."

Yoongi turns around at the mention of his name. He looks at Prince Jungkook, a small smile plastered on his face.

"It's late. What are you doing here, at the roof of the castle?" The young Prince asks, stepping closer to the edge.

"The stars look beautiful tonight," Yoongi replies, looking up.

"Indeed," Jungkook replies.

Yoongi averts his gaze to Jungkook. "You don't sound happy, Your Highness."

"Firstly, stop with the 'your highness', just because I'm Prince now doesn't mean you have to call me that. You know I hate it, I'm just Jungkook," He says, "Secondly, yes, I'm not."

"Why is that?" The General asks.

"Why do you think?"

Yoongi looks down at his hands. "Do you hate me?"

Jungkook furrows his eyebrows. "Why would I hate you?"

"It was me who... raised the sword and... " He trails off.

"You did it because you were ordered to. Because it's your job to do so, not because you wanted to do it. I know you didn't want to do it."

Yoongi drops his hands, and looks at the Prince, who was a hint of a smile on his face.

"I saw it," Jungkook says, his eyes shining, "I saw your hands shaking. I saw the tears in your eyes after it was over. I thought you were sick, but then you didn't hesitate to kill Jung Hoseok. That only happened when you killed her."

Yoongi doesn't reply, but looks away.

"Did you, perhaps, have a thing for her?"

"It's not like it matters now."

"You did."

"I know my place," Yoongi says, his voice sharper than he expected it to be, "I know I shouldn't come close to a Princess."

"Are you blaming him for her death? Because if you are, then you shouldn't. She knew it, before she did anything, she knew she was going to die."

"Why did she do it if she knew?"

Jungkook lets out a breathy chuckle. "Haven't you ever wondered, General, what love can do to a person? It's stronger than you think, it's a deadly weapon."

"You know what else is a deadly weapon, Jungkook?"

Jungkook smiles when Yoongi drops the formalities and hums.

"What?"

"Greed," Yoongi says, "Greed is a deadly weapon, too."

"I know, but don't you think love is stronger? Don't you think it can defeat greed?"

Yoongi smiles at Jungkook. "Do you think so, Your Highness?"

Jungkook grins. "I think so, General."

The General nods, still smiling. "Then I think so, too."

The Prince gives one last smile, and a pat on the shoulder to the General, then walks away, back inside the castle.

Min Yoongi looks up at the stars. How beautiful are they, so close yet so far. So visible yet so out of reach. Just like her.

His eyes burn, and he blinks to wipe the tears away, but they fall instead, one after the other, and he has no reason to stop them.

He wipes them with the back of his hand, but they continue, on and on, so he lets them be. His grip tightens on the railings, letting in a sharp breath, then he lets go, his knees failing him. He crouches down, thinking of what could've been.

He forgot to tell Jungkook, that guilt was another deadly weapon. The guilt he feels was unlike any other he had felt in his life, and he'll ever feel in his life.

"The stars are beautiful tonight," Yisun says, looking up at the dark sky from her terrace, "They're shining so bright."

"Not brighter than you, my love."

Yisun rolls her eyes playfully, turning around to look at her king.

"Shouldn't you be asleep?" She asks.

"Shouldn't you?" He says, stepping closer.

"I want to watch the stars for now, I can sleep later." She turns back around, leaning on the railings. Seokjin stands beside her, leaning, too.

He looks at her, and his heart skips a beat. He wonders when things have changed for the better, when she started accepting him as her husband, when they started getting closer. Whenever it was, he's grateful for that time.

Her long silky hair falls on her back, shining in the moonlight, her dark locks seeming brighter under its shimmering light. Her eyes are a deep brown, and they reflect the stars, and Seokjin wonders if they reflect the universe, too for he sees it in them.

He intertwines his fingers with hers, tightening his grip, as if he's afraid she'll disappear. He caresses her soft hand, his fingers brushing against her delicate ones.

The wind goes stronger for a second, and her hair flies, strands of hair brushing his shoulder. He gently tucks it behind her ear, and she turns to him.

His heart beats fasten when he locks eyes with her. There's a faint red painting her cheeks now, and it brings a smile to his face.

He stares at her eyes again, her eyes that reflect the universe, the sun, moon and the stars. Her eyes that take his breath away. Her eyes that make him feel warm, content and home.

He wonders if she thinks the same about him.

"This night seems sad," She parts her soft pink lips to say.

"Let's make it happy, then," He says.

He leans closer, closer than he's ever gotten, closer than they've ever been.
