The Monster with Slender Fingers

In my dark, dark place I hear,
In my dark, dark place I fear.
The monster with slender fingers.
In your slumber, it hovers,
With its silky hands,
Its body bends,
Its fingers graze your cheek.
And in a shriek;
You disappear.

In my dark, dark place I see,
The pale figure that haunts me,
Curses me,
Frightens me.
In my dark, dark place I feel,
Its slender fingers over me.
It has found me.
And in a shriek;
It kills me.
