I put my head down in relief when I pushed out my second baby, my husband Ameer, cups my cheeks and thanks me for bringing his children to the world, I smile at him wanting to thank him too for giving me them and for staying with me during their delivery, it wasn't easy but he still stayed. My babies where brought to me and placed on me gently, I looked at them, a boy and a girl and let out a tired sighed, silently thanking Allah for giving me them and keeping them healthy for me. A nurse takes them away to keep them and I watched her every movement, she tucks them in and leaves the room after congratulating us again.

I looked at my husband who was staring at them, he turns when he notices my stare on him.
"They are beautiful." He says and I nodded in agreement.

"Thank you for giving me them." He says again and my eyes get teary. "I'll make sure to provide everything they need in this life and I'll make sure to protect them from all the dangers in the world by GOD'S grace." He tells me, he leans down and kisses me, I let out a sigh in the kiss.

"I'll be with you all the way." I tell him as we broke the kiss and try to keep my eyes open. He chuckles.

"You can sleep Ameerah, I'll be with them through out." I opened my mouth, about to start objecting.

"you need the sleep, you deserve it." He added. I nodded at his words.

"I love you." I tell him "I love you too." He replies and I drift off to sleep.

We were back home and preparing for their naming ceremony when my husband's twin brother Asif comes in with his wife, they've been married for 3years and they don't have a child, they are trying all they can to get one, visiting different doctors but still no luck, I thank Allah for not giving me their problem and ask to make it easier for them.

We were currently in my sitting room talking when Asif's wife, Khadija started thanking me.

"thank you so much, I know it was hard, I mean no mother could ever do that, and the ones that do are the best in the world, May Allah reward you for this, I promise I'll take good care of her, I won't let anything happen to her-" What is she talking about and thanking me for.

"Her?" I couldn't help but cut her off, I don't get it and who is her?

"Oh it's not her then, you're giving me him." She beamed. "I can't believe this, I still don't know how to thank you-" I interrupted.

"I don't understand, giving you what, who is the he and the her?" I asked and i feel Ameer shifting in his place. Khadija's smile drops when I said that.

"What do you mean?" She paused frowning "you said you were giving me one of your twins and I thought you were going to give me the girl." She says and I felt the air knock out of me.

"What?" I croack, feeling the dryness in my throat. "what are you talking about, I never said or agreed to give you any of my children, I didn't even know about this." I informed her feeling angry at the thought of giving my children away. I looked at my husband as he puts his hand on my shoulder. I shrugged it off, standing up abruptly
