I stared at the determined look on my twin sister, Jamila's face and couldn't help but thank God profusely, I never thought I'll see this day coming... Sure, I had hope she'll come around but not this soon, Alhamdulillah.

On the day of her wedding which was just three month ago, she was so happy, so excited... So alive. I remember when I went to her room early in the morning to see how she was feeling, she ran to me hyper and her exact words were.

"Ya Jamil" she calls my name, she always used to use Ya to tease me as she was older than me by 5minutes.

"Today marks the day, I'll be leaving home and you, my dear loving twin brother.. I won't lie, I feel really nervous at the same time really happy - elated even because I'm getting married to the love of my life y'know?". I nodded

"Which is why I'm always going to be there for you and if you ever need anything or find yourself in any trouble, you know who to run to after Allah". I concluded and we laughed.. We always said this to each other when one is feeling any sort of emotions to keep one another in check.

"You took the words right out of my mouth Jami". She says using the nickname she has for me and gives me a tight hug, which I returned. We let each other go after a while.

" Oh which reminds me, mom said by the time she comes up to your room, you should be done with the breakfast brought to you ". She gasped

" I totally forgot, I'm blaming you, so I'll tell her this is your fault". I rolled my eyes.

"What?, no... Don't tell her that, she'll drag my ear in front of my wife again!". She laughed... My wife's name is Fatima, we got married 5months ago, I love her but she's a special case honestly... She acted so sweet to me before we got married and a bit after but now she has changed, I thought it was because her parents got divorced and the only person she has is her little sister, Fadila but I'm not sure anymore... Right now, I just tolerate all the things she does, because I still have faith that she'll come around.

" Okay fine, then just get out of my room so I can start getting ready". She says pushing me out of her room.

"Sheesh, fine fine... I'm going". I turn around and squeeze her cheeks before running out of the room. You'll think after all this years, we'll stop acting this way.

I met my mom and wife in the kitchen cooking, my mom adores Fatima and she uses it to her advantage anytime she wants something, I hugged them one by one and purposely kissed Fatima on the lips to annoy her because she couldn't say anything in front of Mama... She glared at me while I gave her a teasing look. I took a plate of food and ate it then went to meet the groom, who is also my best friend, Akbar. He was waiting for me outside.

Akbar is a friend that I know will treat my sister right with everything he had, because basically we're like brothers from another mother, we went through almost everything in this life together.... I don't think I'll be where I am without him by my side, so when I found out Jamila and him wanted to get married to each other, I didn't hesitate to say yes and here we are... On their wedding day, May Allah bless them both.

I spotted his car outside the gate and got in. I gave him a look and started laughing, he looked like someone who was lost. He hit my arm.

"Hey, show some respect, did you forget I'm your brother in law". I say teasingly and he hissed.

"How is she, is she feeling jitters, does she want to call it off?". I gave him a deadpanned look as he rants.

"Really?. Bro, we both know that's not how Jamila is feeling, all this questions are what you are feeling instead... And I'm going to tell you, don't you dare get cold feet on her, okay?... We don't need a runaway groom o". I joked, trying to calm him down, but he still seemed tense.
