I woke up in the morning to the sound of my phone ringing.
I picked it up without looking who it was.
,,Hello?" I answered in a really tired voice. Well I did just wake up.
,,Hey! It's me, why do you sound like you just woke up?" Dylan said through the phone.
,,Cause I just did. What do you want." I groaned.
,,Woah someone's not a morning person. Or a afternoon person actually, considering it's 1pm"
,,WHAT?!" I shrieked jumping out of bed.
,,Yup. Anyway I was calling to ask when are we watching the movie? I'm free all day so it's up to you." He said. For some reason he sounded very euphoric.
,,Yeah I'm free all day too. You can come in like an hour if you want. I just need to take an shower and breakfast and shit like that.." I sighed yawning again.
,,Awesome, I'll be there in an hour! See ya"
,,Wait Dylan don't hang up!"
,,Yeah?"
,,You are gonna explain everything right?"
I heard him sigh in the phone.
,,Look I'm sorry to pressure you like this but you are my friend. And something is clearly wrong. I just hate being here and not knowing what's happening. It's like something happening right in front of me and I can't see it. I know it's none of my business but I care about you. I don't want you to feel like you're alone. I just want to help." I said. Every single word of it was true. I do wanna help him. And I do care.
,,I-I really appreciate that. And I will tell you everything I swear. But just don't try helping me. Please." He said and I can tell he was sad. Almost like he was gonna cry.
,,What? Why don't you want me to help you?"
,,You'll understand when I come. I have to go. Bye." He said and hung up.
I put my phone down staring blankly ahead of me. I was so confused and even more worried.
I got up from my bed, took a shower, brushed my teeth, put on some casually clothes and headed downstairs for breakfast.
I walked into the kitchen, poured some milk into a small bowl and put cereal in it. I ate up quickly and went back into my room.
I took my phone and dialed Olivia's number. Her and I got pretty close after she took care of my in the hospital.
,,Hey girl!" She answered.
,,Hey, what's up Liv?"
,,Not much, just got a day off, thank god. So I was thinking you and I can hang out today? You know like have a girls day?" She said sounding really excited about the idea.
