I walked down the stairs of Maya's house and into the kitchen. I sat down and started eating the left over pizza from last night.

,,Good morning" I heard someone whisper in my ear. I jumped from the chair and fell down almost hitting my head on the counter.

,,Oh God are you okay?! I didn't me to scare you like that." Maya said helping my up.

,,It's okay... just don't do that again.." I smiled looking at her.

,,Hey Dyl... can I ask for a favor?" She said sitting next to me.

,,Yup, what is it?" I said eating some more pizza.

,,I really want to go to the mall today, but I can't leave Callie alone so maybe you can stay here whit her?" She smiled at me.

,,Nope." I simply stated.

,,What? Why?" She asked confused.

,,Because the last time you went somewhere alone I had to flip the whole town upside down to find you. If you wanna go to the mall I'm coming with you. And if Callie doesn't want to come with us she can stay with Olivia and Allison." I explained.

,,Deal, but remember that you're going shopping for lip gloss and mascaras with me, I don't think you'll have much fun." She laughed.

,,Yeah I hate shopping. But I'll do it for you." I said smiling at her.

She just chuckled in response and went back upstairs to wake up Callie.

Maya

,,Hey Sprinkles wake up." I said gently shaking my sister.

She just murmured something and turned to the other side of the bed.

,,C'mon it's already 11am and you're still in bed." I said shaking her again.

,,Five more minutes" she said snuggling into the sheets.

,,Okay, five more minutes." I sighed and got up from the bed.

,,Thanks mom" I hear Callie say still half asleep. I smiled sadly as I felt a tear rolled down my cheek. I quickly whipped it off and left her room.

I went back down stairs and found Dylan covered in mud, soaking wet, holding a puppy in his hands.

,,I was gone for 5 minutes..." I said shaking my head.

,,What in the name of God are you doing?" I asked looking at him and he gave me one of his lopsided smiles.

,,I found a puppy." He said holding it a little closer to me.

,,And what happened to you?" I said looking at him up and down.

,,Well the puppy is injured because a bigger dog attack him and I wanted to save it so i took the puppy and started running."

,,That still doesn't explain why your soaking wet. It's not even raining outside!" I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose.

,,Well the bigger dog, a Rottweiler by the way, started chasing me, so I panicked and jumped into the lake..." he finished looking down at the floor.

,,You panicked and jumped into the lake?" I repeated in disbelief.

,,Yeah... but hey, at least I saved a puppy!" He smiled adorably looking back up at me.

,,Can you stop smiling like that I'm trying to be mad at you here!" I sighed.

,,What's my smile got to do with anything." He smirked.

,,You have a cute smile." I shrugged.

,,You think I'm cute?" He said blushing.
