I lay in bed motionless at 3am staring at the blank ceiling of Maya's guest room. I thought about all the events that went down today.
I knew I shouldn't have done it. I shouldn't have kissed her. I didn't even notice my feelings for her, but I guess I'm that moment kissing her seemed so right. But it doesn't matter because she doesn't feel the same way and to be honest why would she? She deserves so much better and I'm just constantly dragging her into dangerous situations and putting her and Callie's life at risk. Why would she care about someone like me?
But one more thing was bothering me. That Jimmy guy. Beside the fact that I'm probably jealous, also something that's new to me, he seems awfully familiar I just don't know where I've seen him before. I can't recognize him but I know that I've seen him somewhere.
Either way I don't like him. Partly because of jealousy but mostly because he just seems dangerous. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I don't want anyone getting hurt anymore. Especially not Maya.

I reached for my phone that was sitting on the night stand.
One new message
I unlocked my phone and scrunched up my eyes due the sudden light radiating of the small screen in the pitch black room.
Unknown:
Meet us at Madison Avenue in 15 minutes if you want us to leave you and the two girls alone.
P.S. don't you dare bring anyone with you.
I reread the text multiple times. I knew who it was. I thought this whole thing will finally come to an end. But obviously those guys aren't over it.
I sighed getting out of bed. Maybe I can make a compromise with them? Maybe I can do something else instead paying of the money?
I walked out of my room as quietly as possible carful not to wake up Maya or Callie.
I scribbled a quick note saying that I went outside just in case anything happens. I left it on the kitchen counter and exited the house.
Walking down the streets of my home town I noticed how there's no people anywhere. I mean it is 3:15am but there's always someone right?
I sighed shivering slightly. I probably should've wore a jacked instead of a hoodie and jeans...

My phone rang again. I looked at the message with confusion.
Unknown
You better hurry up...
,,What the..?" I whispered not quite understanding what they were taking about.
