Chapter 5

Surrender

Most people would have just passed by with only a thought like, “she’s beautiful”, or “too good to be true”. That’s just most people, but not Reid, He just see’s the world as a beautiful moment that we should share with the people we love. He told me that he felt something and he did what he had to do that night of my first kiss. It’s only been awhile, like a month since we sorted out the relationship and my uncle accepted the fact that I’m dating this boy, he said Reid is a good one, I just need to be careful...

My school life isn't much of a problem anymore, I made a few girl friends, our group is sort of just normal, we study together and we hang out old fashioned. Reid kept the group together. Brennan is the rebel who is afraid of falling off the top of their pyramid, so she always insists to remain at the bottom even if she weighs less than everyone else. Jack, currently reid's Best friend, who comes in handy at times when we need help in Workshop. Lee, short for Leeyeung E, is your typical asian friend, has many family expectations and self centered Goals. we hang out in between classes or afterschool at the gym during Brennan's Cheer practice, and we enjoy weekends at Wal-Mart or Mcdonalds only when we have an escuse like a class project and we do it, but of course we go out after.

Today Marked the first month of our Relationship, I was feeling confident about my position, until Benevolent Interupted with yet again another trial to get my forgiveness, I guess I can differ who is who. During Lunch I had practice for my role in Drama and I'm happy to be given the part of Ms.Wilder, A struggling artist who was forced by her song writer Aunt to perform at the Tavern and soon realises that she is gifted with a voice that she never expected of having. And yet once more my practice was interuppted by Benevolent, "Hope!, I'm sorry!", Benevolent leaned against the stage, "Please, let's fix this" he pleaded, "Hope, Just. just let me explain myself to you, I'm sorry for what i did, i need you to forgive me, please?", "never mind forget it.", he finally left, what was he thinking? what made it so important to have my forgiveness, I just don't understand why people believe what they hear and even worse why make somebody constantly remember all the things they did and do wrong. 

Later on after lunch and after every class up until Math I felt like I could be the most confused person, I mean I don't control what you think and frankly I wish I could, I mean like can't people just---, "Hope!", Reid yelled behind me, "C;mon let's go, were gonna be late.', he glanced at me while we walked I tried to face away and not let him see me like this," Hope is something bothering you?, tell me, i'm here I will listen", he stopped in front of me and held my shoulders, i honestly thought he was going to kiss me, I guess I was hoping for it it actually. "If you need some space I'll give it to you?", He said with a grin, He is so sweet, but still very corny. "sure, I guess I need it before I drag you into this mess", "sure what ever you'd like.", he went strait to our math period classroom.

During Math period, he didn't sit next to me, he sat with a few of the boys in or Math class, I didn't mind at all, but something didn't seem right, he kept glancing at me with this guilty look on his face and it seemed as if the guys he was talking to were argueing with him. Ugh, who am I to get into every inch of his buisness, I mean, we're just boyfriend and girlfriend, it's not like I have to know EVERYTHING. well I might want to, but that might be rude in his opinion, or not, well I don't know too much about things like this. I'm guessing I still new to how he acts, but at least he knows what I need, and that includes focusing on important things like school, my grades, and school.

after math I guess I just felt better for awhile until yet again here comes Benevolent, pleading for forgivness."What do you want?!", I scoffed at him, demanding to make him stop." I need you to forgive me, please...", he asked very politely."for what reason, tel me and I will find a way for you to leave me alone", I replied as i continued to the Gym.'well...", Well, I need you forgive me because, if you don't Christine would think I'm a total jerk.", he got less souylful and drooped in his feelings."well who is she to you, and why do you need her opinion on who you are, if you"re a jerk, You. Are. A. Jerk.", I entered the gym and paced towards the locker room, when I heard Lee's Voice on the other side of the lockers. "reid is so sweet, he just is the best guy you could ever meet, but he is with that girl from who knows where, I mean he could have been so sweet to me like before when we were litle", she started giggling,I then heard Brennan,"Lee, what happened to you, why are you so against Hope, what did she ever to you?, it's not elementary anymore, he changed, for good.', I entered to stop the arguement and the next words that would have left Lee's mouth, but it didnt stop her she actually wanted me to hear what she had to say and she left with that smirk on her face, I had to tell Reid about her behavior, but I'd be a snitch if I did that to her. so instead of revenge i decided to go peacefully and just asume she was PMSing. 

 I was once told by my mother that all things happen for the benifeit of others and you can't control it unless you deserve it, otherwise you're just poisoning yourself. I don't know if she expected me to understand what ever it was she meant, i guess it was some sentimental thing that she always talked about. well, i haven't been too amazed with my current satus with Reid and this whole idea of getting older and maturing to become just like the adults that take care of us and to get married and get a job, but we never think of these things until we need to, why doesn't school teach us about things like that, instead orf just home Ec. or wood shop. I can go on, but i think my teacher notices me starring off into nowhere, because i noticed her comming near me. "Hop[e, could you pay attention, to the discussion.', she said, the class started to laugh. 

I went outside only to see Benevolent yet again pleading for forgivness, "I'm sorry, I won't bother you any more. OK"
