Chapter 2

After the 3 hour drive we finally reached. My jaw literally fell open at the sight.

It was a mansion. More like a palace.

Hold up. Don't tell me it's another distant relative. Aunt? Cousin?

"We're here" dad said as we drove into the compound which was protected by tall black gates.

Act normal Eun Bi, act normal.

Who am I kidding, I seem to have some rich relatives.

The doors were opened which revealed the faces of a man and woman, who seemed to be some more family of my gigantic family. Or at least that's what I thought.

"Well don't just stand there, come inside", the woman said. She looked the same age as my mother.

She and her husband invited us inside to sit. And don't get me started on the features of the house. Or should I say castle.

"Is this her?", the woman asked my father. My head quickly shot up.

"Yes this is Lee Eun Bi" I smiled.

"She's so pretty. It's nice to see that she's going to part of our family" the man said.

Wait what? Am I not already part of this family? What's going on?

I gave my mother a questioning look.

"Congratulations Eun Bi, you're getting married", the all said in sync. I was dumbfounded.

WHAT??

NO! THIS IS JUST A PRANK!!

I ALREADY HAVE MY LIFE PLANNED OUT!!!!!

I didn't want to be rude so I politely asked if I could speak to mom outside. I dragged her outside.

"What kind of joke is this?" I practically yelled.

"Shhh! This is the surprise we had for you" she said, happy as ever.

"I already had my future planned out. You can't crush it like that. I don't agree to this" I tried to contain my anger.

"This is our only chance" mom said, the smile on her face became a frown.

"Only chance for what?"

"Haven't you seen how stressed your dad and I were lately?" I nodded

"Well it's because our business is going bankrupt and the only way we could revive from such a thing is to get you married into this family"

"But how did they agree for their son to marry someone like me? I mean we aren't 'up there' "

"Because they owe us a favor for saving their daughter's life. Now let's go before they start to worry" she said.

Wait there is a daughter too????

I followed behind her and sat back down where I was before.

"So who is my husband to-be " I spoke out loud instead of whispering.

The woman chuckled. " My son, Jeon Jungkook"

Before I could respond, a guy came rushing down the stairs.

"Sorry I was taking a shower" he said and bowed.

"Jungkook, meet your wife to-be, Lee Eun Bi"

We locked gazes for like a second until his mother interrupted.

"You two should get to know each other"

"Yes, and plus we adults have some other things to take care of in the mean while" mom agreed with his parents.

Ughhhh. I rolled my eyes making sure only mom saw and followed this 'Jungkook' boy outside.
