Arranged Marriage

Chapter 1

I'm currently walking home from a horrible day at school. Why is it horrible you ask? Well it's because of this girl named Sun Hee and her friends. They try to bully me every once in a while. Note the word 'try'. No matter how much they try to kick and punch I'm too strong for them. Mentally.

Anyways back to the point. I was supposed to be home like 10 minutes ago because my mom called me to tell me that we have to go out this afternoon and that she had some 'news' for me. She seemed pretty excited. Must really be some good news considering that she was stressed lately.

I finally arrived home and as soon as I busted through the door my mom ran to me and squished me into a 'hug'.

"Go change quickly we're late and it's gonna leave a bad impression on our family" she said and slightly pushed me towards the staircase. I quickly scanned the living room to see that my mom, dad and little brother were already dressed formally.

Oh so I gotta wear something formal...

I ran into the bathroom and took a quick shower since I didn't exactly have time to do my daily afternoon private concert.

Anyways, while walking out of the shower I was thinking about what I should wear. That was until I saw the dress that was layed out on my bed. It was a dark blue half-shoulder dress with flower patterns on it. (A/N - Dress above)

I quickly put on the dress along with a black high heel shoe. Since I wasn't a huge fan of make-up I just put on some light-pink lipstick and some mascara. I let my wavy hair down since I suck at doing hairstyles and plus I don't exactly have enough time either.

I grabbed my purse and busted out the bedroom door and ran down the stairs since the heels wasn't that high.

"YOU LOOK STUNNING!" mom basically yelled. Yup. That's my om right there.

"Now let's go before we arrive even later" dad said. Let's just say that he has a thing for punctuality.

We hopped into the car before driving off to our destination.

Hmmmm. Is it a surprise dinner? Party? Family Gathering? Nahh mom knows I hate going to those.

I can't wait for the surprise. They probably went over the top for this one...
