Krist was alone in his room. He stood near the window with a piece of paper in his hands. He took a deep breath and concentrated. He slowly closed his eyes for he no longer needed to read what was written on the paper. He opened his mouth and a beautiful melody came out.

He opened his eyes when he heard someone clapping and saw his mother with a huge smile on her lips. He turned red and quickly ran to his bed, hiding beneath the comforter.
"Maeeeeee!!! You're not supposed to hear that! You're not even supposed to be here!" he whined.
Rune could only laugh at his son's cute behavior. "But Krist, what's there to be shy about? Your voice is so beautiful. I heard it and believe me when I say that it is really beautiful."
Krist peeked his head from the comforter, wearing a pout on his lips. "You really think so, mae?" he questioned with a tinge of doubt in his voice.
Rune sighed and sat on the bed. Why is her son so doubtful about it? His voice was amazing. If he auditioned to be a singer, he would surely pass and be a famous singer right away.
She started patting her son's head while speaking. "My, my, my Krist. Why are you so doubtful? I believe your voice is amazing. Your P'Singto and even Gunsmile think so too. Believe us son. You'll win that competition for sure. Your competitors have no match for you!" she said and winked at Krist who in return laughed.
"Sing? Are you listening to me?" A woman with black long straight hair asked her boyfriend with a raise of an eyebrow. She and her boyfriend were in the school's library, reading books about business management. She had been giving him her opinions about it but it looks like her boyfriend was not even listening to whatever she had been saying these past 10 minutes.
"I'm sorry Fluffy. What is it?" Singto asked and Puimek sighed.
"What's wrong with you, Sing? It looks like your mind is wondering to somewhere else even though your body is here."
