Sometimes there are good days,Days where the light shines through,
And the layers of clouds seems to float away.
Sometimes there is hope,
And the darkness is put at bay.

Glenn is good.
Real good.
Muscles? Check.
Strength? Check.
Stamina? Check.
Brains? Maybe not.
Glenn charged at me and tried to bulldoze through me, assuming that I would be easily overpowered. Little did he know that I most certainly had the brains. I also had very good stamina, and could throw a pretty mean blow if I wanted to, not that he knew that, yet.
So as Glenn tried to overpower me, I swiftly dodged his body of muscle and elbowed him in the back of the neck and knocked him out. In one hit. I was not expecting him to go down so easy, and may have added too much force.
I looked at the lump that was his body, at my feet, and I turned to see all the guys' gawking faces. Oh please God, please let him not be dead, I sent a silent prayer up to the Heavens.
I bent down and checked his vitals. I let out a sigh of relief when I found he was still breathing and everything seemed to be working as it should. I'd probably hit a nerve, which may have caused him to blackout.
God, it had been so long since I'd fought someone. I'd probably had to re-feel the ropes and re-establish my understanding of the human boundaries.
These men were not punching bags, I reminded myself, they were human. They may have looked strong, but that didn't mean that they couldn't break if one wasn't careful.
As I turned around to apologise, I found the guys all standing there, in all their shirtless glory. I was caught so off-gaurd, that I had to take a step back.
I knew they were all muscular and athletic but this was too much. All of them standing there together, abdomenals on full display. I was finding it really hard to keep my eyes on their abs, I mean faces.
God! Lord Almighty! Send help. Please?
Some angels to swoop down and save me would be appreciated, right about now.
But from the way things were going, they would probably be hot too. Ugh. I knew people would say this would be any girl's dream - to be surrounded by hot dudes and such, but sometimes, you need them non-attractive faces to keep your heart from going into cardiac arrest.
My reputation was failing me. Okay, time for some third person pep talking.
Talia, get a hold of your damn self, you darn idiot. Freaking hell, you've seen enough hot guys on Google, Instagram and all other social media platforms, its like over 50 percent of what you look at girl!
Okay, I had this. I could do this. Breathe in. Out. I locked gazes with them. Not their abs, but their eyes and I counted this as a win on my part.
I let a wild smile break free and said, "So who's next?"
I couldn't underestimate them all just because I beat Glenn, I knew better than that. Underestimating people could lead you to your demise.
The next person I went up against was Fraser. A real man-dozer, a close bull-dozer too. He was strong, and was able to land some strong hits to my shoulder and stomach. Hurt like a bit- female dog.
