It all happened quickly. Jungkook was laying there frozen on the ground shivering and Taehyung scooped him up shakily grabbing his thickest coat and rushed to the hospital
again.. this time with more anxiousness since Jungkook's body temperature was lowering by a lot. He tried not to panic but all the things that happened happened so suddenly he didn't know how or what to react...
When he reached the hospital and saw Namjoon he immediately went up to him and said "WHAT THE FUCK NAMJOON I TRUSTED YOU TO TAKE CARE OF MY BABY! I FUCKING TRUSTED YOU! Why... The fuck did you let him go? WHY?"
"Taehyung... Let me fucking explain.. Please.. Now if you'll excuse me Jungkook's tempeeature is dropping. Jin! Go and get Jungkook to a room and make sure the heaters are on!"
"Yes sir!" Jin immediately brought Jungkook away and Taehyung sat down with Namjoon to talk.
"Okay.. Taehyung, your best friend insisted on apologizing. He was hellbent on it that he cried. He couldn't sleep or eat Taehyung and that's not healthy for him. Did you even know he suffers from anorexia? That no matter what we fed him when you were gone he wouldn't eat it because of the guilt?"
"You still could've asked someone to take him Namjoon not let him go alone." Taehyung said while fuming.
"I fucking tried but he wouldn't listen. All he wanted was for you to think that he was alright. That he was okay with whether you forgave him or not! Obviously the price he paid was more than what he could take but he wouldn't have fainted again if he hadn't been standing outside your door for a long time! What the fuck were you even thinking Taehyung?!" Namjoon scolded him and that made Taehyung realize his mistake. A small mistake which may cost Jungkook his life.
Why the fuck would you do that for me Jungkook. WHY WHY WHY... why....

After several hours, Taehyung was finally permitted to enter Jungkook's room to find him looking outside.. but what shocked Taehyung even more was that he was singing.

And to say that Taehyung was mesmerized was an understatement. Jungkook's voice sounded so soft yet so raw and filled with emotion he almost couldn't bear to listen to his singing without crying. A tear rolled down his cheek and he immediately went up to Jungkook, putting him on his lap and cradling him like a mother who was shielding her baby from the world. "H-hyungie" he squeaked out "S-since when w-were you here?"
"Since you were singing with that captivating voice of yours bun." And to that comment Jungkook blushed. Nobody's ever said that about me. Eomma used to scold me and say that my voice is a fucking disgrace.
"Bunny do you really believe those words?"
"I-i s-said that out l-loud? Sorry you weren't supposed to hear that." Jungkook muttered in a low voice.
"It's alright baby bunny. Don't believe her.. your voice is so fucking beautiful the whole world could melt hearing it." Jungkook looked up at Taehyung and found him smiling with full teeth on display. It made Jungkook's heart flutter and play a symphony that was never there before. He strangely liked it. As he laid his head on Taehyung's chest, listening soundly to the other's heartbeat, Jungkook questioned if there will be a future where the both of them are destined to be for each other. One questioned popped up in Jungkook's head and he took all the courage he had to ask Taehyung.

"Hyungie, i-if.... if i take a long time to take this mask off to show you what I look like....

Would you...

Still like for who I am?" Now Jungkook's heart was racing because he feared the answer Taehyung would give him.

Taehyung gently cupped Jungkook's mask (face) even though he can't actually touch his cheeks and made the boy look up into his brown orbs as he said this with the most serious voice he could.
"Jungkookie I will like you and keep on liking you. I'm your best friend and i'll always be by your side to protect you from any harm and anything that bothers you. They will never get past me because I will be in front of you and by your side forever and always so don't ever doubt my love for you." And with that Taehyung hugged Jungkook tighter like he was the most fragile boy in the world and they both spent their evening in the hospital room watching sappy romcoms and re-enacting the romantic scenes one by one. It was the best day the both of them ever had. All troubles aside.. and Jungkook thought about it but if he were to take his mask off in front of anyone, it would forever and always be Taehyung.... when night came, they were both cuddled up inside their warm blanket and both of them snuggled closer to each other. Their hearts were in sync but none of them knew what to say...
"Taehyungie, I know you can't look at me very clearly but when I'm with you, my eyes shine with the stars that are present when I'm with you."
"My dear Jungkookie, you are the star of my universe and you know that nobody else can take that title away from you. My cute little angel, you really do deserve everything you know that?"
"Hey Taehyungie, can you sing me a song?"
"Sure bunny i'd be happy to.. what song would you like me to sing?"
"4 o'clock would be nice Hyungie.. do you mind singing it for me?"
"Of course not Jungkook... now try and get some rest okay? I don't want you fainting twice ever again."
"Yes Hyungie... Good night."
Jungkook fell sound asleep once Taehyung finished singing and Taehyung couldn't help but admire the boy's posture. He was curled up into a little ball and the blankets were covering him so perfectly it made Taehyung coo internally. He doesn't know when Jungkook will take his mask off and god darn even if he had to wait forever he wouldn't stop loving Jungkook.. and it was this night that he realized.....

I love Jungkook more than friends.... I think... I'm in love with him.. but I'm straight (yeah right) *smirks* god what am I doing...
