R u Mine?

Jungkook opened his lips to say.....

"No Taehyung." And that was enough to break Taehyung's heart into pieces. It was more like all the world's luck had betrayed him and he felt as if he was stabbed by a thousand knives in his heart. "N-No? Is that really your answer?" Taehyung asked. The heartache apparent from his voice. "You didn't let me finish hyung.... what I meant to say was.." "No I don't want to only be your boyfriend. I want to be the reason you smile every single day. The person you come home to. The person who will give you happiness in this dark and painful world. I know that I don't deserve your presence from the beginning but hyung.. You've done so much for me that I don't even know how to repay you. If I can do this much for you then I'll be the happiest person alive. If I can at least bring happiness for all the suffering I've cost you then I'd like to be your star in the night skies that shine bright on you and illuminate my light on you when you're lost in darkness. Hyungie, would you accept me this way? All I am? And all my broken pieces?"

Jungkook's words made Taehyung tear up. Not only because of happiness but of relief. He was finally able to claim Jungkook as his and he wouldn't have it any other way.          

"Jung kookie, of course I accept all that you are and I will mend all your broken pieces through my love. I don't care if you never take off that mask and show me your face. All I ever wanted to do was love you with my whole heart and nobody can stop me from doing that." After Taehyung made his confession, they both stood silent for a minute not knowing what to do until Taehyung felt a pair of arms and a head on his stomach his shirt wet from water?.... No, not water.. tears. It belonged to Jungkook. Taehyung was confused as to why Jungkook cried but Taehyung patted the younger's soft fluffy hair and finally Jungkook sat up looking at Taehyung in the eyes saying "I'm sorry hyung.. That's just the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me since my Appa was gone. I'm so sorry for being weak like this." Jungkook said with tears staining his eyes. Taehyung could only look at the boy and say "Jungkook, you're not weak. You're super duper strong and that's one of the billion reasons I fell in love with you. You're so kind to everyone and you're so pure and innocent. How can I possibly not love you? You're too adorable for your own good and I don't want people taking you away from me you hear me?." Taehyung huffed and crossed his hands and pouted like a little kid which made Jungkook giggle uncontrollably.

After their fits of laughter Taehyung suddenly came up with an idea. "Hey Jungkook. I know you might not feel comfortable being my boyfriend this instant so I have an idea. What if I take you on a date tomorrow and if you say you had fun may I have the permission to make you mine only? But if the date doesn't go well, you can reject my confession. Does that sound like a good idea to you? Jungkook looked hesitant for a second but then nodded. He didn't want to lose Taehyung ever and how could the date even possibly go wrong with Taehyung? He was the sun to Jungkook and everything Taehyung did made his day better. It was past 3:44 a.m and they built a fort and told stories about each other.

How Jungkook accidentally slipped on a banana peel in front of the class when he was still in kindergarten and how Taehyung would always draw on the walls when the teacher specifically said not to. They laughed at each other's jokes and stayed up until dawn to goof around with each other and have a nice midnight snack. Both of them woke up the next morning more energised but they knew they were going to get tired because they stayed up all night. None of them cared because today was gonna be a special day. Today was the date and to say that Taehyung was nervous was an understatement. He hoped so much that Jungkook would be his. Taehyung decided he would start off with making Jungkook breakfast. He knew how much Jungkook loved banana milk and baby carrots with nutella (Yes that's a thing.) and he decided that he would make Jungkook pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. Taehyung set up the table and waited for Jungkook.

The younger came out looking a bit disheveled. His clothes were a mess and his hair was going everywhere... like literally everywhere.

Taehyung thought the younger looked absolutely adorable. He said "Good morning Jungkookie!  I made you breakfast!" Taehyung said excitedly. "Hyung you didn't have to... Now i feel bad.." Jungkook said with a pout. "Jungkookie don't pout like that. My heart will leap out of my chest if you keep doing that."                                                                                                                                                                                                                         "What do you mean hyung?" Jungkook looked like an innocent bunny which made him look twice as adorable and Taehyung just couldn't help it and squeezed Jungkook into a really tight hug. "H-hyung c-can't breathe please l-let go."                                                                                 "Oh sorry Jungkook you were just so cute... come on let's eat breakfast I have the whole date planned already!"

Jungkook took a bite of the pancake and immediately said "Hyung this tastes so good! I could eat this the whole day if i was able to!" Jungkook then kept on munching on everything under 10 minutes and Taehyung went somewhere secretly as Jungkook was eating. Taehyung approached the younger from behind and gave him a bouquet with tulips because to Taehyung, Jungkook looks like one with his pink lips and pink tinted cheeks. Jungkook blushed from the action but took the bouquet anyways and said "T-thank you hyung you didn't have to." He bowed to Taehyung but Taehyung stopped him midway and said "Don't bow to me Jungkookie. I'm your future boyfriend after all!" Jungkook grew even more flustered by the comment and looked down. He saw a small card on the bouquet and read it aloud. It said "So what do you say darling baby R u Mine?" Jung kook's cheeks grew hotter every minute because of this and it was a relief Taehyung couldn't see him. Taehyung then asked the younger. "So what do you say Jungkookie? R u gonna be mine? He said."                                                                                                                        

"Hmmm... I don't know hyungie." Jungkook then ran away from Taehyung and quickly went upstairs. Taehyung caught the hint and chased Jungkook upstairs only to tickle him to death. The date hasn't even started yet but they were already having so much fun...
