He's Gone?

Jungkook's POV

"Goodbye hyung."

Jungkook braced himself to jump off the very steep cliff. His tears streamed down his face as he was thinking about jumping off. He himself didn't know if the tears were caused by regret or happiness. He just knew that he was gonna be free if he jumped now, finally free from everything and everyone who never appreciated him. On the other hand, there was Taehyung. His ray of hope and his sunshine. Jungkook was sorry that he couldn't keep his promise. He had promised Taehyung that he'd never leave the other alone. He'd promise to live every single part of his life with the older.

"I'm sorry I can't spend the rest of my life with you anymore hyung."

"Saranghae."

There. He said it. He said it as he was about to kill himself in front of his lover's eyes. How could he be this cruel? He took so long to finally officially confess and that's when Taehyung really started breaking down into a miserable mess.

Taehyung's POV

"Saranghae."

Was the thing that escaped Jungkook's lips and if it had been under happier circumstances Taehyung would've ran up to the younger and hugged the living daylights out of him but he finally confessed to Taehyung as he was about to die and nothing enraged the older even more.

"Jean Jungkook you can't just leave me here and expect me to be fine without you you know that? You can't just say I love you and leave! It doesn't work like that you have to stay. Please... Please I'm begging you fuck just don't jump. Please.." Taehyung said his voice getting weaker as he was hoarse from screaming.

3rd Person POV

Jungkook was getting closer to the edge as stones finally fell down. Jungkook looked at the darkness below but he just wanted to hear Taehyung say something before he jumped. One last thing he needed and everything in his life would be right.

"You wanna hear something Jeon Jungkook? Saranghaeyo! Taehyung said with tears on his face. Come back to me please.."

"nado neoreul saranghae." ( I love you too) Taehyung said.

Jungkook chuckled softly and then quietly said

"That's all I've ever wanted to hear." And with that, he jumped like it was the easiest thing he had done in his life. Taehyung's body had frozen in shock. He didn't react on time and was running towards the edge.
