jeslyn had been dropped off to college by her parents for the freshman orientation, ready to explore how it's going to be like.

chenle; "jeslyn! are you here yet?"

jeslyn; "just got dropped off! where are you at?"

chenle; "i'm by one of the 'sign in' tables. the seniors here are really nice!"

jeslyn; "really? dang chenle, making friends already..."

chenle; "actually the seniors found me while i looked lost as always and...."

as chenle kept talking, jeslyn caught something in the corner of her eyes. she couldn't believe it... lee daehwi? daehwi was walking around with other freshmen, casually smiling around them.

chenle; "jeslyn? jeesssllyynnn?"

jeslyn; "huh? oh sorry chenle... just got distracted..."

when she looked back up, he was gone. maybe i was just hallucinating.

jeslyn; "anyways chenle, where are you right now?"

chenle; "in between club tables and the sign in one!"

jeslyn; "okay, i'll find you after i sign in. bye!"

pull yourself together jeslyn... you did not see daehwi...

she found chenle and chenle ran up to her to give her a hug, along with his cute warming smile.

"jeslyn, are you staying for tonight's orientation?" chenle asked.

"yep! i'll be taking the bus home... but it's okay. what do we even do at orientation?"

"after touring the school, we get to meet our seniors and introduce ourselves to other freshmen!!" chenle squealed.

"oh my gosh jeslyn!" someone said behind her. it was kyla, her other friend from high school. "hi kyla!" jeslyn waved and smiled.

"chenle, jeslyn, have you seen that freshmen somi? she's so pretty... i want to become friends with her, but she already has way too many friends." kyla pouted.

"it's okay kyla, just try talk to her when you have the chance!" chenle gave advice.

"i'll try..."

jeslyn and chenle gave her the "fighting" sign to give her confidence.

"but," kyla pulled jeslyns arm, "please come with me?" kyla asked.

"um... i guess so... chenle, come with us so you're not lonely." jeslyn teased.

"i'll follow you girls haha."

they walked towards the big group of freshmen, all talking to somi. wow... she's really pretty.. jeslyn thought to herself.

since the group was so big, jeslyn couldn't see who somi was facing and talking to. when she finally got a look, she stood stiff. lee. daehwi. she saw that kyla was already inside the crowd while jeslyn still stood looking at all of them.

"chenle," jeslyn tugged on chenle's sleeve, "w-we should just explore the clubs... kyla is having fun with them."

"already? you didn't even talk to one of them, go!" chenle pushed jeslyn into the group of people.

luckily she almost tripped, but someone had caught her.

"oh my gosh, you almost fell, are you okay?" the person said. jeslyn was still looking down at the ground as she knew that familiar voice. she was scared to look up.

slowly, she looked up and saw his eyes.

"j-jeslyn? kang jeslyn?" daehwi questioned, he couldn't believe who was in front of him.

quickly, jeslyn ran out of daehwi's arms.

"jeslyn wait!" he tried shouting, but she was already lost in the crowd.

"daehwi-ah! come on, were going inside the building." somi called out.

"o-okay..."

"jeslyn! why'd you run?" chenle found jeslyn sitting by a tree.

"um.. i just felt nervous." jeslyn excused.

"well, lets go! we're exploring the building with the other freshmen." chenle gave his hand out to help up jeslyn.

"o-okay.."
