"Maybe you should try opening up your eyes, Hoseok. Quit freaking out over my presence and try paying attention to the hell that you're causing for the person you claimed you 'couldn't lose'." The brunette snaps softly at me, glaring before returning his attention to the blonde that's now in his arms. Feeling my blind rage over the extra person fade a bit, I finally realize that Yoongi's freaking out of some sort.
"Yoongi-ah?" I say quietly, my eyes widening a bit in surprise. I take a step towards him, but stop when he flinches. He whimpers out loudly again, curling even further into a ball. I freeze at his reaction, worry coursing through me at what's happening right now.
"Shhhhh. Yoongi-ah, baby. Shhh. Calm down, Yoongi. It's okay. It's alright. You're gonna be okay. You gotta calm down for me though, baby. Come on. You gotta breathe, Yoongi. Hush, shhhhh. It's okay, it's alright. You don't need to worry, okay? They're not here. You've got nothing to be afraid of." The brunette coos to the smaller blonde. I feel my heart sink in my chest at the stranger calling Yoongi 'baby', but there's nothing I can do about it right now and it's hardly the time to be questioning things anyways.
"Hey, I'm gonna be right back. Okay? Shhh. Calm down, Yoongi. It's okay, baby. I'll be right back, I promise." He tells Yoongi before looking up at me.
"You gotta trade places with me." My eyes widen at his words.
"He flinched when I took a single step towards him. You really think he's gonna let me sit there in your place?" I question incredulously. The man gives me a stern glare.
"He'll be fine once he's getting comforted again. But I need to go grab something for him right now, and that requires us switching spots." He informs me. I groan quietly, running a hand through my hair as I nod. Biting my lip, I take a seat beside him on the sofa before he gently leans Yoongi up a bit. The boy whimpers and whines, eyes widening in fear and worry as the brunette holds him away and stands up. He looks over to me and I quickly slide into his place before the man leans Yoongi back down against me. Yoongi's reluctant at first with me there and not the other, tense against me as he becomes quiet with the whimpers barely audible. Though, as I gently wrap an arm around him and rub his back softly, Yoongi begins to relax into me a bit.
Returning to the volume before, he curls into my side as I try to comfort him. I have to admit though, as heartbreaking as it is to see him like this, it's a great feeling to get to be the one there for him. Unfortunately, it's only mere minutes before the other boy returns.
"You need to kiss him." He instructs as he walks over to us. My eyes widen once again, not believing the shit that's coming out of his mouth.
"When he's like this and after everything that's happened? I doubt he even wanted me here in the first place." I snap at him, not believing the crazy man in front of me. Yoongi tenses up again as I raise my voice and it makes me curious as to why. Though, I don't bother questioning it when the other man glares at me.
"Don't raise your voice when you're with him, idiot. Especially when you're supposed to be there comforting him. Now kiss him so that I can give him what he needs. You've just gotta keep your lips against his for a few seconds until you feel him relax into you." He scolds. Sighing quietly, I gently pull Yoongi back a bit, earning a whine from him. His eyes are wide, watery and innocent as he looks up at me with a trembling pout on his lips. Taking a deep breath, I lean in and press my lips against his. He squirms at first, clearly not wanting this right now. But, after a few seconds he begins to calm down and relax into it, letting his lips mold against mine perfectly. Though, before either of us can begin initiating an actual kiss, I pull away. Yoongi looks up at me with wide eyes again, his beautiful brown eyes not as watery this time and his lips no longer trembling in their adorable and full pout.
At this point, the other guy steps in. Kneeling down in front of Yoongi and placing a hand on his knee, I'm surprised to find him holding an unwrapped blue lollipop in his hand. Yoongi seems to calm down even more at the sight, his pout turning into a small sweet smile as he takes the candy before slipping it between his lips. It's absolutely adorable, the sight in front of me, but it also surprises me. He's much calmer now with a child's disposition.
It worries me though, that we've now gotten him calmed down to almost a childlike ease, and yet, we still need to talk things out so that I can get him back from what happened last night.
