Music blasted through the Salvatore Boarding House. Mallory and Damon exited their bedrooms, which were right next to each other. Mallory walked over to Damon, dressed up and not in pajamas, which shocked Damon because of how it was still pretty early, "What's got you all dressed up?" Damon asked her confused, only to notice the large smile on her face, "And why do you look so happy?"
"My boyfriend is a hybrid and it's the first day of my senior year," She informed Damon, continuing to smile, "I've been to high school a thousand times before, but I've never made it to senior year before. And plus, I'm on the cheerleading team. How much more mundane can I get you?"
"I have a feeling the part of you being excited about high school was supposed to seen as you being sarcastic?" He commented and Mallory nodded her head in confirmation, "Okay, good."
Still hearing the loud music, Mallory sighed in annoyance, "What the hell is our brother up to?" She complained as she and Damon walked down the stairs together.
The duo ended up finding two dead girls on the floor at the foot of the stairs. Mallory rolled her eyes, unamused as she stepped over to the two boys with Damon doing the same soon after. Damon and Mallory walked down the hallway and into the living room, only to find Stefan sitting on the couch with a few girls around him, playing a game of twist.
Mallory had an amused look on her face when she saw all the bites marks on the girls and the blood on the Twister mat. They were all laughing, seeming to be having a good time as Stefan spun the spinner, "Uh-oh. Alexandra, left hand, please." He spoke up in a playful told.
Alexandra stood up from the twister board and walked over to Stefan, holding out her arm. He turned it and immediately bit into her wrist, "Sorry to interrupt, but the two brunettes on the staircase owe me a Persian rug." She spoke up, causing Mallory to turn to him.
"You mean, they owe us a Persian rug? It's my house, too, little sister," Stefan reminded her and Mallory scoffed.
"Are you the one who paid for it?" She questioned him, "No, it was me so no, they owe me a Persian rug."
Damon scoffed loudly, "Please. You never paid for a thing in your life." He commented, causing Mallory to give him a look of disbelief.
Mallory opened her mouth, about to argue but then closed it, knowing he was right. As a human, she was a wealthy princess who everything given to her in life and when she was turned, she was given the ability to compel someone whenever she wanted to obtain something. She really never did pay for anything in actual cash before.
Stefan turned to Damon, a large smile on his face, "Ooh, Damon! Would you like a spin?" He asked his elder brother, holding up the spinner being used in the game.
Damon and Mallory walked down the small set of steps and into the parlor, closer to Stefan, "So this is what Klaus had in mind when he compelled you to protect Elena?" Damon asked Stefan with a smirk on his face.
"These ladies are helping me be all that I can be," Stefan replied in a mocking tone, a tone he used frequently whenever his humanity was off.
There was a knock on the door and Damon sent Stefan a quick glare before walking over to the front door. The male vampire opened it to find Rebekah standing there. The youngest original vampire pushed past Damon and entered the house with shopping bags in her hands, "Where's Stefan?" She asked Damon.
Damon slowly closed the front door as Rebekah entered, turning his head and watching as she made her way over to where Stefan sat, "Who the hell are you?" He questioned confused.
"He left me here. My brother actually left me here." Rebekah complained and Mallory couldn't help but scoff.
"I mean, have you met you?" Mallory commented, causing Rebekah to turn to her with an annoyed look on her face, "If I was him, I would've left you, too."
