Clary

Izzy and I quickly cleaned up the mess Henry made and gave him new clothes.

I checked the time.

11:35

I sighed and turned on some random show.

"Oi. Clary. Hey. Clary."

I felt warm hands wrap around my shoulders and shake me.

I grumbled and slowly open my eyes.

I fell asleep. At least Henry was still in the living room. Sleeping on the floor.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaat?" I groan, turning around to face jace.

He chuckles and hops on the couch. "Want to get some ice cream?

I bolted off the couch and put my jacket on. I grabbed my wallet, keys and kid before scribbling a note to izzy.

We then walked out of the house and drove to ice cream.

The ride was silent to the ice cream place. Other than the fact that Henry was crying.

I only got him to stop when I told him where we were going.

"So," Jace began. "You.... dating anyone?"

I choked on my current spoonful of ice cream before scoffing.

"Why would you think that!"

"Oh nothing...." he looked away and stared for a while.

I finally looked at where he was staring and saw a tall, blonde girl-with a big bust- asking people for directions.

I started getting angry with him. He was supposed to be helping me take care of OUR kid.

I groaned silently. Henry looked up at me and held my hand.

"Mama. Wah wahng?"

"Oh nothing dear. Would you mind giving your fath- jace a hug and wipe you mouth on his shirt? You have chocolate everywhere!"

He nodded and made his way over to jace.
