DESCRIPTION: Hundreds of years ago, because of Aliester's mistake, the population of the vampire grew bigger and faster like a contagious disease. Everything fell into chaos and a lot of human was killed by the vampires.

Because of that,  they made a law to protect both vampires and humans from each other. Later on, vampires decided to make Aliester their king since he is the first vampire, but because of the guilt, he refused and he passed the position to his son, Reinhardt Sambridge.

PROLOGUE

No matter how fast she runs, they can still follow her.

Her breathing became unstable as she ran along the bushes.

How many werewolves are after her? Three? She will be at disadvantage, she can't fight them all. She knew she's not strong like her father. She started to think if running away from her home is a good idea or not.

"Argh!" she screamed when a werewolf jumped onto her and bite her right shoulder.

She fell on the ground. She tried to stand up and saw three growling werewolves in front of her.

"Werewolves!"

Biglang nagsialisan ang mga ito nang marinig iyon. Lumingon-lingon siya sa paligid bago sinubukang tumakbo ulit.

Ngunit natigilan siya nang may dalawang lalaking humarang sa kanya. Nakakatakot ang mga itsura nito at may malalaking pangangatawan.

"Sino ka?!" tanong ng isa.

"N-napadaan lang ako," she answered. She winced when she felt wound on her right shoulder.

"She's a rogue!" sabi naman ng isa.

Napapikit siya ng mariin. Kung isa kang bampira, hindi mo gugustuhing tawaging kang rogue dahil kasunod nun ay magiging isa kang alipin.

"Sumama ka sa amin kung ayaw mong ito ang maging huling hantungan mo!"

They grabbed her both arms and dragged her.

"Please! Please! I'm not a rogue! I need to go somewhere!"

"We will let you go if you will show us a letter from your Lord with a stamp."

She bit her lower lip. Kailangan niyang umisip ng iba pang paraan para makatakas siya bago pa man siya iharap sa kung sino mang Lord ng clan na ito.

The two guys stopped dragging her when they felt someone's presence. Kahit siya ay naramdaman niya iyon, ang nakakatakot na awra na nagmumula sa di kalayuan.

Sabay na lumuhod ang dalawang bampira na nasa tabi niya dahilan para pati siya ay mapaluhod dahil hawak-hawak siya ng mga ito.

"King Reinhardt!" the two vampires said.

Kung tao lang siya ay malamang namutla na siya nang marinig ang pangalang iyon.

A vampire came out from the trees. Nagsimula siyang manginig nang makita ang mukha nito.

'He's the King?!' she thought.

"Where are the werewolves?" tanong nito. Halos kilabutan siya sa lalim ng boses ng Hari.

He has curly hair, thick eyebrows and blue eyes. He's overall handsome but scary at the same time.

"The others are running after them. We caught a rogue, King Reinhardt."

Napalunok siya nang tingnan siya nito.

"Your name?" tanong nito at lumapit sa kanya. Nanatiling siyang nakaluhod habang ang dalawang bampira naman ay tumayo na.

"Val Scully," she lied without breaking an eye contact. Kailangan niyang maging kapani-paniwala.

"Scully. I've never heard of that name before. Thus, what do you want? To be a my slave or to die?"

There's a lump on her throat and she can't answer him immediately.

"I'm a busy person, Val. Choose."

"Please don't kill me!"

He smirked and turned his back at them.

"Bring her to the mansion."

"Yes, King Reinhardt!"

She felt like crying. She doesn't want to be a slave. She's a Lady!

But she can't tell them or they will bring her back where she belongs, or worst, baka lalo siyang pahirapan ng mga ito dahil isa siya dapat sa sumusunod sa batas ng mga bampira.

She just wanted to runaway from home. Why did she need to bump into the King of vampires?
