Bodies scattered everywhere. Blood was on her hands. She stared at the people- corpses- in fear and shock. She killed them. She killed them. Every single one of them. They were innocent. She didn’t want to be this. A murderer. A monster. “I’m a monster.” She mumbles to herself. A pair of arms snaked around her waist.
“No you aren’t. You are a demon. My precious secret weapon. You didn’t think you could hide did you? I will always find you.” A deep voice whispered in her ear. She looked down at the puddle of blood. Her face was mirrored in the blood.
Her blue-green eyes were red. Veins were protruding around her eyes. Her dirty blonde hair was stained with dirt, blood, and rain. ‘Oh. It’s raining. How fitting.’ She mused absentmindedly.
“Now sweetheart,” the mystery man said, “it’s time for you to kill these.” He led her to three creatures, bloodied. An eagle, cougar and a lion. Something told her not to.
“They are animals. What does it matter if they live or die?” she questioned him.
The man’s face twisted in anger. His eyes bled red and veins protruded from his eyes. The whites of his eyes changed to black.
“Because I want you to kill them. That is all the motivation you should need to kill some pathetic animals.” He hissed. He violently grabbed her hair, earning a low growl from the cougar. He scoffed at the animal and glared at her.
“He was too weak to help you so now you are my property. Do you understand that? I can do whatever the hell I want with you.” He spat at her. His fingernails dug into scalp. Tears sprung to her eyes. To get rid of the pain she rapidly nodded her head in hopes that he would let go.
After looking at her lecherously up and down, he threw her on the ground and looked down at her. She took no notice to him. Her mind was racing with confused thoughts.
‘Who is he? How in the world did I become his property? Why does he want me to kill animals? Why am I the one this happened to? What am I? How is it I don’t remember anything?’ The thoughts came running through her head. Then man picked her back up roughly.
“Did you not hear me? Kill them!” he barked at her. She was still in a daze. He made a strange noise from the back of his throat. He eyed a blade on the floor and quickly picked it up. After examining the sharpness, he smiled wickedly at her and ran it over her face.
“You won’t listen to words huh? Ok then.” He stabbed her arm and dragged the dagger down as if he had been falling from the sky and was tearing a flag to decrease his speed. Then all that could be heard in the darkness were her screams.

“Rose! Rose! For goodness sake wake up! Rose!” A man frantically yelled. His eyes were a bright blue and great fear and worry. Rose thrashed in her bed, throwing the covers off.
“No! N-no! Get away from me!” Rose let out another high pitched shriek. Her screams mixed in with her sobs. Her hands flailing in front of her pushed the man to the floor. Her back arched as she let out another scream. She fell down onto the bad.
“Please.” She whimpered. “I promise. I-I’ll do it. Don’t hurt me.” Her sobs caused her to make choking sounds. “I’ll do what you want but please. Please stop.”
The man’s heart broke seeing her like this. This was the first time he was seeing Rose this scared. It pained him yet made him even more resolved. Picking himself off the floor, he grabbed Rose by her shoulders and violently shook.
