THE SPOTLIGHT: Season III, Issue 8

Spring is almost here. That means new growth, warmer weather (for most), and a chance to renew our commitment to the craft of writing. It also means setting the clock forward and losing an hour for those of us who live in one of the seventy-plus countries that observe the torturous ritual.

You guessed it: I'm one of those who say don't mess with my alarm clock and who would prefer that the time change would be abolished.

Just like the seasons, we change throughout the year whether we realize it or not. When summer comes, our minds might drift off to exotic destinations. Some of us may even actually go on an exciting vacation!

In fall, we sense our habitat changing, temperature cooling, and we don that thin sweater or jacket and pack up the shorts until next year.

Winter? Let's not talk about that since it has been a blizzard of coldness.

Seasons change, so roll with it, and may this spring catapult you into a new you!
