I get out of bed, rubbing my swollen eyes from my breakdown session yesterday night.
After Hunter threatened me, I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen.
I know I'm leaving in a couple of days, but I'm still scared.
I made my way to my bathroom opening the sink and splashing my face with ice cold water.
I felt refreshed. I hope I would feel like this on Zaron.
I dry my face with my hand towel, and proceed to starting off with my daily morning routine.
I finished up and got dressed, casual clothes, it wasn't a talent show after all.
I took a peek at myself in the mirror and shook my head in disgust. I understand why no one likes me. Thankfully though, I won't have to see them anymore.
I made my way downstairs, grabbed an apple, left the house and locked the door.
I walked a few steps towards my car and hopped in it, starting the engine.
I left my parking lot and jumped on the road to Zearth.~
"Your destination is on the left" called out my GPS
I parked my car near the entrance of the building, and entered to the front desk.
"Hi, I'm here to sign up for the trip to Zaron" I said, calmly
The woman who sat behind the desk didn't seem very nice and welcoming, yet I still smiled at her, the temptation of rolling my eyes and smacking her was very hard.
"Floor 3, the room on your left." She replied in an annoyance
This is why I'm leaving this fucked up world.
I ran to elevator as fast as I can before it closes. I landed in front of the elevator, the gap too thin for me to pass my arm through it, as I wanted it to keep it from closing.
Yet, I failed.
I groaned in frustration as the elevator shut and moved up to floor 9.
"Someone didn't wake up on the right side of the bed" I heard, a manly voice coming from behind me
I turned around only to spot a tall built guy, blue eyes, a snap back and his pearly whites shining.
He was indeed very good looking, but looked like a dickhead.
I nodded in response, not interested in him. Not after what I've been through, I can't do this to myslef.
"Damn, who pissed in your cereal?" He asked, keeping this "conversation" going
"If you're trying to get my pussy, well then try again, Ok?" I said in the bitchiest tone
"Alright, I'll keep trying if that's what you want" he replied winking at me
I scoffed, acting like I didn't care.
The elevator soon came up and we entered it pressing the floor number we were headed to.
I quickly pressed the number 3 and so did this mysterious guy.
"You're signing for that trip too?" he questioned, surprised
"Yah, and why do you care?"
"Oh its nothing, I was just wondering"
Something seemed off about him. I didn't like the feeling of being around that guy.
"Hey, I don't bite" he laughed out
I mimicked his laugh, and rolled my eyes at his absurd behavior.
"Friends?" he said, pulling his hand out for me to shake
I shook his hand and told myself I can give it a try.
The elevator made a ding noise, signalling we were finally on the third floor.
I left the elevator in a hurry, hoping I was early for the sign ups.
I entered what seemed to be the room for the trip, and was surprised at the amount of people here.
Guess everybody wants to escape this world.
I walked towards and empty table which had a man sitting on the other side.
"Hello, I'm here to sign up for the trip to Zaron"
He didn't seem to hear me the first time, so I raised my voice a bit.
"Um hi" I said loudly, startling him
"I heard you the first time young lady" he replied with sass
Why is everybody in this building so rude?
He passed me a bunch of papers, which appeared as the contract papers for the trip.
I pulled the chair closer to me, and sat on it as I swiftly glimpsed at them.
"What am I supposed to do?" I questioned
"Read the document, and wherever you need to sign, sign it"
I nodded in response. The task was easy; read and sign.
I took a deep breath, as I started surfing through the pages and reading the rules.
-this is a one way trip, meaning there is no way to come back
-no electronic devices allowed
-no baggage allowed
-clothes, accessories, jewelry, ect , are not allowed
"So basically I'm not allowed to bring anything?" I questioned the man
"Yes" he replied
"But what about the clothes I'll be wearing when I arrive at the departure area?"
"They'll assign you specific clothes, don't worry about anything kiddo"
I finished reading the document and signed everywhere it was necessary.
I gave the man the document back, and before I left, I made eye contact with the guy.
Hopefully I don't see him there.
The fun parts are coming soon!!
