Esther and Johnny have been dating for three months and they loved each other deeply. Esther sometimes found him to be a bit clingy, but she kinda loved it. She knew he'd never leave her, even if the world was ending. Johnny would always be around because she was one of the only things in his life that kept him alive since his parents abused him and being harassed by Socs. She meant more to him than she knew, so on their three month anniversary he wanted to do something extra special even though he didn't have much money.
The two were walking down the dim lamp lit street after watching a movie together. He let her pick the movie of course.
Johnny rested his arm around her shoulders since he was too scared to wrap it around her waist, so Esther took his arm off of her (which made him nervous of course, thinking that, that had made her upset.) and put it around her waist for him as he let out a light sigh of relief.
"Hey um, why don't we head to the lot?" He hesitantly asked.
She looked up at him and nodded, "Sure, why not?"
The couple walked down the dim, lamp lit street until they reached the entrance of the lot.
"After you m'lady." Johnny jokingly bowed, causing his hair to fall in from of his face.
"Why thank you good sir!" She laughed.
After they were both in the lot, he took Esther's warm hand and held it tightly. They walked a bit further, giggling and pecking each other on the lips a couple of times. Johnny was pretty nervous to actually kiss her and she respected that, but it sometimes made her worry that their relationship wouldn't be more that a peck on the cheek.
There was something lying in the distance, Johnny didn't seem to notice but Esther did, "Hey what's that over there?" She said, pointing to the object a couple feet in front of them.
"Uhhhh I don't know." Johnny replied, she could tell he was lying.
Esther took his hand and the ran towards it. The closer and closer they got, she could make out what the object was. She picked it up, it was a beautiful purple tipped rose.

"Johnny what is this?" She gasped.
He knew what to get her since purple roses were her favourite. He dipped the tip in purple food dye himself just for her, "Oh um, I-I don't know! Maybe someone here before us dropped it?" He really was a horrible liar.
Esther just shrugged and they continued on, until they found another rose, and another until she was practically holding an entire bouquet.
"Okay Johnny seriously, what is going on." She giggled, but was slightly impatient.
The dark haired teen sighed, "Fine it was me. But we're not done yet."
"Wait what?" Before she knew it Johnny gently covered her eyes and turned her around, leading her a few steps forward.
He took his soft hands from her face, revealing her beautiful brown eyes that he got lost in the first time they met, and even now, "surprise!" He whispered in her hear while carefully tucking her smooth hair behind her ear. He didn't know it, but she loved it when he whispered in her ear, it always sent shivers down her spine that made her love him even more.
When her eyes adjusted to the light she was amazed to see a little path of candles leading to a heart that was traced out by round smooth stones and rose petals with a large blanket lying in the middle, just waiting for her, "Oh Johnnycake!" She exclaimed while covering her mouth, "You really didn't have to do that, plus where'd you find the time to do all of this?"
He humbly looked down at hit feet, which he was brushing against the ground, "I mean I know I didn't have to, but I-I..." he looked back up at her, admiring every little thing about her face, " I love you Esther. There's no word strong enough to describe how I feel though, love isn't a strong enough term. So I thought I'd show you." He smiled. She was pretty surprised to hear him say I love you since he was so shy. She pulled him into a hug, giving him a passionate kiss (Not a peck).
"I love you so much Johnny Cade...and I'll never stop." She grinned.
She took his and that was still shaking from nervousness and walked through the little candle lit path into the heart of stones. As they got closer she noticed that something was on them. She picked one up and read it out loud, "Your smile?" She said questioningly.
"Well read them." he said, while picking up another rock.
"Your eyes?" She grabbed another, "Your empathy? Johnny what else do you need to explain?" She said with a giggle.
"They're all of the reasons why I love you," he blushed, "but I couldn't find enough rocks to put them all." She hugged him again and then went to read some more
Your eyes, Your faith in me, How you make me laugh, and For accepting me and loving me no matter what, were only a few.
After Esther finished reading every stone, the two went to lay together on the blanket while gazing at the stars. Johnny took the little radio he had and started playing "their" song. (Ok now play the song! P.s I can change it if you want EstherFrausto0 ) .
Esther was already sitting on the blanket when Johnny came over. They laid down as she rested her head on his shoulder just as the song had said. He comfortingly wrapped his arm around her as she dug her head into the crook of his neck, lightly kissing him there. He let out light moans as he breathed,
"I love you so so so so much Johnnycake." She whispered. They both sat up a little and started to kiss deeply. They moved in sync while he controlled the pace, pouring all the love they had into each other. Their kiss turned into a make out session. She wrapped her legs around his lower waist, giving her better ability to crash her lips into his. They both stopped for a moment to catch their breath as they pressed their foreheads together, smiling. He started to slip off her leather jackets and set it beside them on the blanket. He proceeded to kiss her down her neck finding her sweet spot, leaving her biting her lips to keep her moans quiet. Once he stopped, he gently took her and laid her down on the blanket so he could hover over top of her. Johnny kissed her once again whispering, "I love you Esther, you're the best girl a guy could ever wish for."
As the hours passed, their love for each other only grew fonder, and they would never forget that special night ♡.
