A/N: Greetings and Happy New Year, to all my readers. I present this new chapter to keep the ball rolling. I apologize once again for taking a little while with the chapter. Holidays were crazy for me so I was unable to focus on any of my stories. But I am back! I do hope you all enjoy! And please look forward to a fanfic I'll be writing from the Thai BL series 'My Dream: The Series"!
Arthit glances over just as a soft groan escapes Kongpob's lips. The older man stands and walks over, "You okay?"
"Sorry, P'Arthit, I am just starting to get a small headache," Kongpob rubs his temple, "I have been focusing on the same topic for most of this study period. We have exams coming up and I do not want to fall behind just because of my condition."
Arthit looks at his phone to find the timing to be near dinner hours and he sighs, "Kongpob, stop for now. I think it's best we go and get something for dinner."
"I'm not-"
"Don't you dare say you are not hungry, Kongpob, I have heard your stomach grumbling but I ignored it since you were so focused," Arthit says, "Now you can take a small break and refuel yourself. And it's on me so don't argue with me."
Kongpob sets his pen aside and looks up at his caretaker with a smile, "Thank you P'Arthit,"
Arthit waves it off not wanting to make a big deal about it.
It had been over a week since the night Kongpob had stayed with Arthit and awakened by the nightmare. The following morning Kongpob had informed the older man his sleep had been restful for the first time in weeks. Arthit had reluctantly allowed Kongpob to sleep with him in the same bed and use him as an anchor.
Kongpob more than once had curled into him a smile and look of content and peace on his face. Arthit found he liked that expression on the younger man's features then he did any other look, yet he did not know why.
"-thit? P'Arthit?"
Arthit snaps out of his trance and looks at the other man, "Sorry I spaced out."
Kongpob chuckles, "I'm the one with the messed up mind, that's my job," He joked.
Arthit only rolls his eyes but realizes it's good Kongpob can joke a little about his situation. If he stayed depressed it would have triggered negative results. That was the last thing they needed right now, "Come on, let's get some food. After that, I promised I would meet Ai'Knott and Ai' Prem for a short while. Will you be okay on your own?"
"I'll be fine P'Arthit. I'm sorry if I'm taking you from your time with your-"
Arthit turns to place his finger on Kongpob's lips to halt his words stopping when he realizes Kongpob's lips are pursed resulting in the younger college man to be kissing the pad of Arthtit's finger. Arthit's face grows dark red and he moves his hand away just as quickly as he had moved it towards Kongpob's mouth.
"Let's, let's just get going," Arthit suggests grabbing his key, phone and wallet, before leading Kongpob down towards the food stands. All the while he can't shake the feeling that something is off, something he can't define. His suspicions are confirmed when his cell phone vibrates signaling a new text message. He pulls the phone out to find the message is from an unknown number. As he reads the message his eyes widen but he quickly shoves the phone back in his pocket. Kongpob has enough to worry about. Arthit is not about to worry him with this, too
After they finish eating, Arthit escorts Kongpob back to their shared room and messages Prem and Knott. They tell him they're both in Knott's room so Arthit heads down the stairs and to his friend's room. After two knocks the door opens and Prem is leaning against the doorframe.
