A/N: Okay! Hey everyone! I want to thank you all for your utmost patience for this chapter! My wrist is finally healed again and I can write/type freely with no pain. Also, my real-life job as been crazy so I was lucky to get this done. This chapter was a doozy for me and I'm pretty sure you're all going to like it. Some questions will be answered and some scenes will be highly appreciated! I do hope you all enjoy it!
"P'Arthit, are you okay?"
Arthit's attention moves from his book to his boyfriend and he doesn't bother beating around the bush, "Do you want the expected answer to that question or an honest answer?"
"Both," Kongpob responds, "Because I am curious to know what you think I expect you to answer with,"
Arthit chuckles with that, "Now I am curious what you expect me to say," He leans back, stretching his arms above his head and rolling his neck. They had just returned earlier that week from Kongpob's family home. After making the suggestion about seeing if anyone from Kongpob's past would indeed try to sabotage their relationship, Arthit had escorted the younger man back home to check up on that very information. Luckily, according to Cora and Dina, there wouldn't be.
Kongpob had also been able to spend time with his niece who had been holding a small brown teddy bear. Kongpob had found it among his belongings after returning to the dorms months ago. He hadn't quite remembered the reason for its existence, learning a little later from Em, that Kongpob had mentioned a niece and an upcoming birthday before everything had happened.
Kongpob had put two and two together and figured he had purchased the bear just before the initiation trip. As he thought back to it he realized that day had been something he remembered, but just barely.
"Kongpob?"
Kongpob snaps out of his thoughts and turns to look at Arthit. His boyfriend's concerned expression is downright adorable. He would never tell the older boy but any time Arthit would look at him that way it always reminded him of a puppy with its head tilted to the side in confusion, "Sorry P'Arthit, just got lost in my own little world,"
Arthit lets out a soft laugh, "Wish I could visit, sometime. To be honest, I wouldn't mind a break from reality," He clears his throat and pushes his chair back from his desk, "But to answer your question, no I am not all right. At least I won't be until we get to the bottom of this."
A sigh escapes from Kongpob's lips and he chokes back an apology. He has learned Arthit doesn't like it when he blames himself for everything that has happened thus far, "Have you come up with an idea on how to pinpoint what happened to me on Nairong?"
"Knott and I discussed it earlier and we think the only way is to make him confess and get it recorded somehow," Arthit responds visibly shuddering, "But being anywhere near that asshole would be too much," He wraps his arms around his abdomen, "Just the thought of him being near you that night puts me on edge,"
Kongpob thinks for a moment, "We both believe he attacked me because he's jealous, right?"
"Yes," Arthit shudders again, "I honestly don't know why he won't leave me be. I thought I got rid of him at the beginning of my college career."
"Do, do you think he's bothering you, only because you're dating me now?" Kongpob finds himself asking.
Arthit shakes his head, "No, that can't be the only reason. You said you saw well you're sure you saw him that night when you were mugged. There has to be more to it behind the attack then what we are seeing."
"Well either way, how are we going to get him to confess what he did?" Kongpob asks walking over to the king-sized bed and flopping down on it.
"Honestly I'm not sure," Arthit responds shutting his book, unable to focus on his studies, "But a change of subject, you never told me how you did on that exam."
