I lit the fire with a lighter I found in my pocket and sat close to her pulling out my guitar.

I strummed light playing random chords and looked into her eyes.

They weren't the dull grey that they were when I stopped her earlier today they weren't the violet- blue colour that they were when we watched movies, they weren't that blue-black from fear of her dad, they weren't the vibrant turquoise colour from crying, they were a deep royal blue that reflected the light of the fire.

"What?" She asked looking down, shaking me from my thoughts, "um- uh- nothing I'm just trying to figure out what song to sing " i lied.

I began to strum some chords trying to remember them before playing 14 hour technicolor dream.

"Yes I've had Quite a day
The voices in my head won't go away,I've had Quite a week
I hope I die In my sleep
Well, I'm so happy are you ready now? I'm so happy are you ready now? So depressed are you ready now? So obsessed are you ready now?"

She gave me a weird look but smiled and I continued.

"Well don't say I've never loved you right, Don't say I've never held you at night, Don't say, Don't you say, Don't say just love me for today, Don't say I've never held your hand, Don't say I've never been your man, Don't say, Don't you say, Don't say just love me for today"

She smiled more.

"I've been a 14 hour technicolor dream, Lot of blues and the graze and the greens, Been a fire set of jets over me, I feel like a human vending machine"

That made her laugh, god she has a beautiful laugh.
