Chapter 3: So this is me?

Julian and my mom took me home, Hunter refused to go hone with me when I asked. There was something about him, when I was around him I got this tingly feeling.

"Did I always feel like this around him? Could I possibly love him?" I asked myself. "No I couldn't I already have a boyfriend." I told myself.

"So where do you live?" I asked Julian trying to push that thought out of my head.

"Right next door."

"Wow thats weird." I said realizing what I just said, I tryed to take it back but it was to late.

"We have lived next to each other since we were three and we have been friends ever since." Julian said.

"Cool." I said trying to make up fir my comment earlier.

When I got to school Julian made it to were he had every class with me. He was a good boyfriend I was glad I had him.

"Okay now we go to English." Julian said pointing to a classroom.

I walked in and saw Hunter sitting in the back with an empty seat in front of him.

Without thinking I walked straight to that empty desk.

"Did you get your memory back Winters? " Hunter asked.

"No why would you guess that." I asked getting curious.

"That's where you sat before ... you know."

"Its okay you can say it."

But he didn't respond because Julian walked over, a crowd of girls following him. He must be popular.

He motioned for the other girls to leave then he sat at the empty seat next to me.

"Do you remember anything?" he asked.

"No, I don't, I wish I did."

"Its okay it will come back eventually." he said.

Without thinking I asked, "So are you popular or something because girls dont just follow boys around like that for no reason." I asked.

He looked down almost like he was nervous to answer, "Yes." he said finally, "I'm the star on the football team."

"How in the world did you want to date me when you are the star on the football team, cant you have any girl you want. I mean you are hot." I blushed when it sinned in to what I just said.

"I might, but none of them are as important to me as you." he said grabbing my hand.

Aww he is so sweet! But our moment was interrupted with Hunter gagging and saying under his breath, "And you've already dated almost all of the school."

I looked at Julian hoping that was a lie. Julian didn't look at me he just stood up and looked at Hunter, "What the hell, why would you say that?" Julian said pushing Hunter out of his seat.

Hunter picked himself up and pushed him back saying, "I just told her the truth. Isn't that what we are supposed to do?"

Julian was mad. His face was getting red from frustration, he punched Hunter in the stomach. Hunter bent down for a second then popped back up, as if absorbing the punch, and took Julian's legs out from under him with his foot.

It led to a fist fight and all I could do was scream at the top of my lungs for them to stop. They finally did and they both looked at me as if saying sorry. I couldn't take it any more, I grabbed my bag and ran out of the room.

I ran into the teacher a couple feet out the door.

"How are you feeling Miss Winters?" she asked.

I just kept walking and she let me probably because Julian was following me, his dark brown curls bouncing as he ran after me.

"Scar wait!" he yelled.

I walked out the doors and turned around, "Was what he said true?"

He figured with his fingers then looked up and said, "Yes but you knew that."

How could I see past that? I must have had a huge crush on him.

Hunter came outside, "What do you want?" I asked coming out a little meaner than I meant.

I looked at him and realized he had a black eye and cracked knuckles, I looked over at Julian and saw his lip was cut and his face was red. I couldn't tell if it was from the fight or if that was still frustration.

"The teacher sent me after you to, to make sure you were okay." Hunter said.

"Did y'all really have to do that in front of the whole class?" I asked.

"He started it." Hunter said pointing to Julian.

"But you just had to mention the other girls didn't you?" Julian said to Hunter.

They started arguing back and forth. God they fought like girls.

"Would you stop it y'all fight like girls." I said. They couldn't help but smile a little. When they smiled I couldn't help but smile and laugh a little. They both smiled like they were holding back laughter.

I tryed to get serious and said, "Lets get back to class."

Julian started to walk to the doors but Hunter stayed. "I don't take orders from you." Hunter said.

Julian gave him a death stare and said, "Don't be such a di-"

But I cut him off, "Its okay Julian I got this." he looked at me confused and Hunter just looked at me like, what are you going to do?

I walked up to him and grabbed his ear, he is a few inches taller than me, and dragged him down to my level and started walking to class. He didn't make a noise, probably worried his ego for bad boy would be over. But his face was scrunched up. No one was in the hallway so I didn't get caught.

Once we were to the door I let go and looked at Julian, "See told you."

He gave me a grin and I looked at Hunter who was rubbing his ear, "Not bad Winters." he said.

I just dragged him to class by his ear and he complimented me, he was something special.
