He had long, curly, dark brown hair that he hid mostly behind a large bandana. His eyes were a vivid green and he was wearing a black t-shirt to go along with his black boots and black skinny jeans. His piercings are what stuck out to me, I thought they looked gorgeous on him.

He was leaning over talking to one of his friends and when he laughed and all I noticed was how his smile was so big that his eyes crinkled, and I thought it was the cutest thing in the world. He glanced over at me, probably wondering why I was staring at him, and I quickly turned my eyes down to my hands, embarrassed.

I peeked up at him, feeling his eyes still on me. When we made eye contact, I swore my heart skipped a beat. Nothing else in the world was moving during that split second. I know it sounds cheesy as fuck, but that's what it felt like. My cheeks instantly blushed and I began to move my fingers around nervously.

He could tell that I was embarrassed so he gave me a small smile and turned around to the front to listen to the instructor.

Three hours went by of watching videos about how to buckle a seatbelt and staring at the back of a stranger that wouldn't leave my mind. When the instructor dismissed us, I reached down to grab my bag and as I stood up, he was standing right in front of me.

I froze.

I had never really talked to a guy before and I had no idea what to say. I just stared, waiting for him to say something.

"Hey," he said.

"Um.. hi," is the first thing that came out of my mouth.

"Can I get through?" What? What was he talking about?

"Sorry?" I asked, confused.

"I need to get around you," he replied as he pointed over to the exit.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I said in a rushed manner. I quickly moved out of the way and headed towards the exit.

I was so stupid. At that moment, I swore I blew any chance that I could've ever had with him.

As I was about to open the door to exit, I felt a hand grip my shoulder. Sam was already outside so I had no idea who it was. With my luck, it was probably the teacher coming to yell at me for being late.

I turned around and said, "hi," to whoever the stranger may have been.

"Hey, sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Harry," it was him. I didn't respond right away but he saved the awkward silence by saying, "Sorry I was kinda rude earlier, it wasn't intentional."

I nodded my head. "It's okay," I let out a nervous laugh. "I'm Mason, by the way."

"That's a beautiful name," he smiled.

"Thanks," I smiled back. "So what grade are you in?" I asked, not wanting the conversation to end.

"I'm a junior. How about you?" he began to walk out the door.

"I'm a sophomore."

"I'm surprised I haven't seen you in the school then."

"Yeah we must have completely different classes," I laughed.

"I wish we had classes. You seem like a pretty cool girl."

I looked at him, him assuring me that I had heard him right. "Thanks," I blush.

He walked me to my mom's car and I smiled at Sam to let her know that I would see her tomorrow at school. She smiled back and winked at me, probably because of Harry. Just as I was about to open the door, he said, "wait."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What?"

"I was um..." he was nervous and it felt good to finally switch places, "I was wondering if I could have your number so I could maybe text you sometime or something."

I laughed to ease the tension. "Yeah sure, I can just put it in your phone if you want me to."

"Yeah okay," he said as he handed me his phone.

When I got to his contact list, I noticed a name with multiple hearts beside it. I couldn't help but ask who it was.

"Oh that's Amy. She's my girlfriend," he questionably said. I looked up at him and he was trying his hardest to avoid eye contact with me.

"Oh," is all I could manage to get out of my mouth.

I finished typing my number in, handed him his phone, and got in the car without saying another word.

(Hey guys sorry I forgot to leave an authors note last time! But I'm really excited to start writing this book. I love reading and writing so this should be a lot of fun! I'll be updating at least once a week since I enjoy writing and they're also pretty short chapters. I hope you all like the book so far. Oh and please comment and leave suggestions! xo)
