John's P.O.V.

I've just arrived at the studio and I'm late. I really have to get rid of this guy I'm seeing, we've had one too many rows and I'm sick of it. A bit of back story, I met him at a gay club called the Merry go Round right here in Central London. He's a bit older than I am and I found him to be quite handsome, he's tall, has dark brown hair and beautiful green eyes. I was instantly intrigued by him and was keen on getting to know the attractive gentleman. At first we would spend all our time together just wrapped in each other's arms and would wine and dine at the finest restaurants. It really was a great time for us. Our problems started with his incessant jealousy. An example would be is when I'm away on tour, he expects me to call him several times a day and if I miss at least one of those calls he becomes enraged. I explained to him that he had nothing to worry about and even offered for him to come away with me whilst on tour, but impractical is that may sound his work would prevent him from coming along anyway. Either way as much as I care for him this relationship cannot go on any further. I've told Freddie about what's going on and he more than understands how I feel, he even offered to help me get rid of him should the task prove to difficult to handle on my own. Hey guys, I walk in and everyone has been patiently waiting for me. "Sorry Im late", personal issues, I put my head down feeling guilty for my tardiness. Freddie looks over to me, "Darling, its fine we were just getting started anyway". Thanks Freddie, I appreciate that, means a great deal to me, I had a long night. Roger turns to me, "No worries mate, we understand", and he winks at me before turning to the others. I smile back at him for understanding. He seems particularly happy today, he's usually in a sulky mood, maybe he got lucky last night. Roger has been hooking up with a lot of different people lately. Its like he took Freddie's place in slutting himself out. I'm not trying to put down Freddie, but he has to know that his behavior will only lead to trouble. I like Roger, I'always have, I think he's gorgeous with those baby blue eyes and golden blond hair, but because we all work together I never dared to approach him about how I feel mainly for the reason of Freddie's no intermingling work policy. I'll chat with him later on about it. "Ok darlings", let's pick up where we left off. Freddie is resuming yesterday"s session which I was not here for so I'll just follow along. "Deacky, we've worked on this already so you shouldn't have a problem with coming in at the right time with this song." Yeah sure Freddie, let's do it, I said to him with a reassuring nod of approval. "I just added a few extra beats to the song to give it that extra kick that it needed, Roger knows what I mean". Roger smiles at Freddie to let him know that he's on the same page with him. "Lovely", "Ok, from the top and 1 and 2 and 3"....... "Hey its a sell out- hey"- "Let me welcome you Ladies and Gentleman".

Roger's P.O.V.

I thought that take went rather well. We are just finishing up the last take on this song after 10 takes and 7 long damn hours! Freddie really is a perfectionist when it comes to recording songs and it becomes very frustrating when we have to keep doing it over and over again. To me the second take on this song was great, but its not enough for Freddie, he wants to make sure its etched into stone before it goes to the final stages of recording. I get it and I understand what he's trying to achieve but I just feel so over taxed sometimes. Hey Freddie, are we good on this one, I ask him hoping that his pleased look suggests that it was great. "Yes darling, I believe we finally got it on this one". I breathe a sigh of relief. Thank God, I wasn't sure how long my wrists would hold up after several hours of banging. Right guys, I'm heading out I've got plans this evening. "Anyone special", Freddie looks at me with a cheeky smirk on his face. Wouldn't you like to know, I say it in a sarcastic tone and think to myself, its none of your business what I'm doing tonight. I begin gathering up my things quickly to avoid any further interrogation. "We just thought maybe we could come along with you dear, like old times", Freddie seems eager to know what I"m getting up to these days. Next time Freddie ok, I rather be on my own this evening. I grab my bag and head out the door when John comes over to stop me, What's up John, I ask him. He seems eager yet reluctant to tell me what's on his mind, "Its nothing important Rog, when you have time I like to talk you alone". Sure John, no problem how about tomorrow morning before we get started . "Fine, I'll see you tomorrow", he says with a light hearted smile.Alright guys, I'll see you tomorrow, I wave bye to them and they wave back. I know John has been dealing with a lot of issues lately because of that guy he is seeing. Maybe he wants to talk about that. Anyway, I'm headed off to the Tank night club to meet up with a few friends and possibly get lucky. After the day we had recording, I could use a nice shag.
