They did what?!

I woke up the next morning and got dressed. I didn't put grease in my hair. I wasn't a Soc, that was for sure, but people say I have the qualities to be one. I am smart, pretty, and kind like some Soc girls. The only thing that keeps me from being a soc, is the gang. If I wasn't with them, I would be a soc. That won't ever happen. I went to Johnny's room. I knocked but no answer came. I went in and didn't see him. "Maybe he went out already?" I asked. Myself. I went to each of the gang's houses and asked if they had seen Johnny. No luck. I was starting to really worry. I only had two places to check left. Darry's house, and Dally. I went to Darry's first, thinking Johnny had gone to see Pony. I was hoping he stopped by, or stayed the night. I walked in. Greasers usually just walked into their gang's houses. Plus I had the spare key to Darry's house. And he had the spare key to mine. Soda greeted me a little glum. He then called down Darry. "Darry! (Y/N)'s here!" She said. Then he went out. Darry came downstairs. He kissed me and hugged me. Then he saw my distress. "What's wrong Angel?" He asked me. " have you seen Johnny? I can't find him anywhere. I though he came here to see Pony! " I said frantically. Darry looked guilty. "Neither of them are here. Pony ran off after...." Darry started. " After what? " I asked. "After i...hit him." He said. "Darrel!" I exlaimed. " i knpw, I shouldn't have, but I was upset with him coming home at 2 in the morning after falling asleep in the lot with Johnny. " Darry said. I gasped. I hugged him and ran out of the door. 'if any one knows where they are, Dally will!' I thought. I ran to Buck's. I pounded on the door. When Buck answered, I looked at him. "I need to see Dally!" I said. " Gosh, first two kids, and now a cute chick? Dally better not be going soft. "Buck said. "Tell him it's (Y/N) Cade. He'll come!" I said. The door closed. I looked through the window and saw Buck coming to the door with Dally. Dally opened the door. " What do ya need? " Dally asked. "Have you seen Johnny?! I've looked everywhere! Please tell me you know where they are!" I said desperately. Dally pulled me inside and brought me to a room. " Yeah, I know where they are. I also know why they're where they are. Thing is I don't know if you want to hear why. " Dally said. "Dally, please! I need to know where my kid brother is!" I said. He sighed. "They were jumped at the park. Johnny says he killed a Soc named Bob. I have them a gun, money, and clothes, and told them to go to Windrixville. When things settle down, I'll take you to see them." Dally said. I gasped. Johnny. ..killed? My sweet, innocent kid brother, took a life? "Thanks Dally." I said. I hugged him. He was my best friend in the gang. He walked me out and I walked back to Darry's house. He was surprisingly home. He saw me and stood up instantly. "Did he tell where they are?!" He asked. I sat down on a table. "They were jumped last night at the park. Johnny killed one of the Socs.... Oh Darry, I'm so worried about him!" I said. I tried not to cry. Darry hugged me. "It'll be okay." He said. I sighed. " i better get to work. " I said. "I'm coming with you!" He said. I nodded. We got in his truck and he drove me to the DX. I work there with Soda and Steve. I was the cashire.I stood at the desk, Darry standing close by. Our of the corner of my eye, I noticed Soda handing Darry a small black box. Darry turned toward me and I looked at him. "(Y/N), I know this may not be the best time, but you make me the happiest man alive. You stick by me no matter what, and I want you to never leave my side. Despite the circumstances, will you marry me?" He asked, getting on one knee and opening the box to reveal a beautiful ring. " Yes! " I said. He put the ring on my finger and we hugged. "Finally, I get a sister!" Soda said. I laughed and have him a hug.
