Stowaway

I finally decided how I would get on the ship, I would worry about a hiding place after. Walking to a plank of wood that was temporally attached to the side of the ship I began balancing like a gymnast on a balance beam as I scurried across carefully. Reaching the main deck I looked around quickly for a hiding place. Seeing no place to hide, I turned to head down the stairs to the forecast. Half way down I heard voices of people boarding the ship.

"All right mates were supposed to sail at dawn but why not leave earlier? Eh?" A voice asked that seemed some what familiar. As quickly and quietly as I possible I finish descending the stairs. Looking around I found the perfect hiding place beneath the stairs and just in time to for as soon as I was settled someone began stomping down the stairs.

"Ah here's me rum!" a gruff voice spoke then re-climbed the stairs. Slowly I let out a breath I didn't know i was holding. I just sat there in silence then decided we would be sailing for a while so I should get some sleep. Getting into a more comfortable position I layed back, shut my eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to shouts coming from above. "Alright now where's the bean?" a voice with a thick accent asked.

"Right here caption, but sir are we a safe distance yet?" another asked.

"Of course we are, now give it to me!" the first voice spoke again.

"Yes Sir!" there was some shuffling that followed those two words so my guess was that the "bean" was being traded off.

"Brace yourself lads and hold onto something!" the caption shouted after a minute. At this moment I was so confused you could've asked me my own name and I wouldn't have remembered, but I wasn't given much time to think about it because the ship suddenly made a violent turn and lurched forward ging at what must've been impossible speeds. As my face threatened to peel off and I resisted the urge to scream all I could think was "what the hell was going on." It wasn't long before I became seasick around the same time water began splashing into the bottom of the ship and my head started spining in cirlces like I felt the ship was. My hair ways everywhere and my hands were sweaty. Water kept crashig from one wall to the the wall on the opposite side of the ship making me have to countinously jump over it. Then all at once it stopped and it became errily peaceful and calm, but not exactly quite. Up above I could here the cheering and shouts of the crew. Brushing my damp hair away from my face I quietly walked over to the single porthole and looked out. I must say it was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. Crystal clear waters lay below with coralful fish and coral heads against the purest white sand sea flor God could've made. Off a ways was an island of a dark green color that did not match this beautiful place that seemed vagualy familiar. All of this against a brilliant blue background; not a cloud in sight. My attention was suddenly diverted by a flash of color, to large to be a fish, under water, but was forced to turn away by force that yanked me away from the window.

"A stowaway is it?" Looking up I saw a man with one eye looking at me.

"Uh...sorry sir, yes sir..." I mutered.

"Let's go see the caption, missy." the one eyed man ordered.

"Okay sir, may I grab my clothes bag?"

"Go get it now!" Why did I come out of hiding? What happened to the mans eye? Where the hell were we? Heaven? Grabbing my bag I did as the man said and walked up the stairs to the main deck and then to the poop deck where the wheel was. Upon arriving a crowd of the crew began forming. Looking amongst them I realized something horrible. I was aboard a pirate ship! Just to make sure I looked up toward the sky and on the middle mast saw a flag with a skull and crossbones design on it. Mentally cursing I began forming an escape plan going off of if they locked me up. I was so deep in thought I didn't realize the man with one hand walk up to me until he spoke. "So this is the stowaway? Is that right Missy?" He spoke in a voice I recognized from the day before.

"Yes it is caption!" the one-eyed man responded.

"I wasn't talking to you! I was talking to the girl!" the caption snapped, "Look at me!" suddenly my head was thrust upward so that I was looking at the 'caption.' My eyes widened in fear when I saw the man that had haunted my dreams as a young child. The pirate had dark brown hair, a face with facial hair covering the skin around his mouth and down his neck. One of his years was pierced as well. He wore a red vest and a black coat with a sword at his side. One his feet were tall black boots. His one hand hung at his side while his hook stayed under my chin to hold up my face. I only said one word before everything went black.

"Hook."

I woke up only to be blinded by the light that hung over my cell. Sitting up I saw my bag in the corner of my cage and heard hushed distant voices. After a few minutes they died down and were replaced by obnoxious snores from multiple mouths making a sympathy only the devil could enjoy. Sleep time I thought as I checked my watch. It was 12:14am. At least time was beginning my friend. Looking around the cell I found the door and studied it before going into my backpack and grabbing my lock pick. A few seconds later I heard a beautiful click. Looking around again I pulled the lock off bad opened the door. That was too easy. With my guard in x10 I snuck out like a ninja heading up the staris to the main deck. Once I was uo there I looked despratly around for a row boat. Finally I eyed one under a tarp. without hesatation I tore the tarp away and began setting it up to lower into the water. Just as I finished a voice spoke behind me, "Going somewhere?" Turning aound I was no surprised to see Hook standing now in front of me with a sword pointed in my direction.

"Actaully yes" I answered back slightly amused.

"Why do you find this amusing? I have a sword pointed at your throat and still you show no fear."

"Becasue I know something you don't" I repiled now smirking.

"And what would that be?" Hook questioned. At this very moment I took out my sword that had been hidden in my backpack before but now hung at my waist.

"That I am a worthy opponent" I mocked him, "and I always get what I want." I slashed my sword up to meet his.

"We'll see about that for I am Hook, Caption Hook, Caption of the Jolly Rog-" I cut him off.

"Ya ya we know, now can we get on with this so I may get off this bloody pirate ship." With that we began our duel. He swung to by left I blocked, I swung to his left he jumped out of the way. In the corner of my eye I saw someone making there way up the stairs. Lunging at him quickly I knocked him to the ground, before running towards the rowboat that was hanging over the ship ready to launch. I got in quickly as I watched a figure run from the stairs to Hook.

"Should I go after her caption?"

"No Smee, she'll never survive anyway as soon as she touches the beach." Hook shot back right before I slashed through the ropes making the row boat drop to the water which made a loud splash in the eerily quite night.
