For The First Time

Love and A Notebook

All of the sudden she was being held over the water. She was crying. Then she felt arms holding her waist and pulling her into somebody’s chest.  She heard him say. “Why?”

She broke down. She finally looked up and opened her eyes to see Harry. She gripped him and held on tightly. He turned her around stood her up, picked Jen up by her legs and wrapped her around him and carried her off  the dock. He placed her on the hood of the car while her arms were around his neck. “Jennifer?”

She looks up innocently

“You are worth every piece of my living soul at this point, whether you like it or not, and I am not about to lose you. You don’t understand the love I have had all along for you, and there is no way that will ever be taken away from me you hear me?”

She let her head down and her hands slowly let go and slid down his chest. With tears rushing down her face he cupped her cheeks and leaned in for a soft light kiss.

In the car back to the house.

“How did you?”

“Leah” *they both said and chuckled*

“Why do you..why do you...love me so much? I am a wreck and a half and you never leave.”

He placed his hand on her thigh and looked into her eyes as they entered the driveway.

“Because you are the only thing that is keeping me alive.”

She got out of the car wearing Harry’s jacket as Leah came running out.

“Are you fucking out of your mind..?” *Leah shouted while Jen was warming up on the couch.*

“Leah, not right now?”

“Oh no seriously Jen what were you going to do swim to Puerto Rico like really?”

“I don’t know Leah okay? Can you stop for two seconds? I’m going to take a bath.”

About a half an hour later Harry goes upstairs to hear music playing familiar music.

“Hey.” *he said peeking his head through the door.* “Is that Let It Be Me you’re listening too?”

“Yeah. I remember recording it, it’s one of my favorites I recorded it right then and there in the booth.”

“You remember that?”

“Of course why wouldn’t I?”

“Nothing” *he smiled it was from ear to ear. He leaned into Jen as she was still in the bathtub.*

“Do you know what I would do to you right now? If I wasn’t still dressed?.”

“Well I am naked and wet and naked.” *she bit her lip and teased rubbing her legs together*

She took her arm out of the water grabbed Harry’s tie and pulled him in to kiss her. She sat up so that her top was exposed and Harry’s eyes widened. She smiled against their kiss. He went to go hold her back when she pulled back and slide back into the bathtub.

She looked away then back and giggled. “What?” *smiling*

“You drive me crazy, you know that?”

She looked away and just grinned, Harry walked out of the bathroom and went to bed.

Another week goes by as it’s another week closer to their first year anniversary. The Doctor came by again because of Jennifer’s incident. Harry mentioned about Jen remembering recording Let It Be Me which was a fantastic sign. She was now remembering things little by little. Which in her case can be good or bad depending on what she remembers. The Doctor ran some tests saying how her head is doing itself. The healing process, what she can
