We were walking around when Ed started whining about being thirsty. I sigh and point out a stand. He runs over and leaves Al and I covered in dust. Mostly me. I twitch an eye before going after Ed.
At the stand, we see Ed already with a drink in his hand with some food and some broadcast on. Al sits to his left while I sit on his right. A man, who I'm guessing is the one who owns the stand, stands in front us with his hands on his hips. "So what are you guys? Like street performers or somethin'?"
Ed, drinking, spits his drink, "Seriously? Do we look like street performers to you?"
"Yes. That's why I asked."
Ed, slightly angry, gets of the stool. "C'mom Al. Ash."
Al, being the tall person, hits his metal head on the top of the stand and knocks down the radio, causing it to break.
"Hey! Easy! I didn't mean nothing by it," the man bends over and looks at the broken radio.
"Sorry. Accident. We'll fix it," Ed raises hand so the man calms down.
"How's that? It's smashed to hell."
"Watch and learn gramps," Ed glances at the man once again.
"Show them what you got Al," I smile.
He mutters a 'right' and draws a transmutation circle underneath the broken pieces. Once he's finished, he stands and slightly crosses his hands over each other. "Okay. Here it goes."
The transmutation circle glows and fixes the radio.
"There. See? How's that?," Ed sparkles.
"That's my Al for ya'," I pat his arm. He looks down and I know he's smiling.
"Amazing. It's a miracle," the man praises. "You've been touched by the Sun God just like Cornello."
"The what?," I ask dumbfounded. Who the hell is the Sun God?
"Touched by who now?," Ed asks also.
"It's not miracle. It's alchemy," corrects Al.
"Oh," some man behind us begins talking. "So you three are alchemist. Right. I've heard of them."
"Yup. Maybe you've heard of us," Ed begins to gloat as he crosses his arms across his chest and closes his eyes with a smirk. Oh great. "We're the Elric brothers with Ash here!"
"Elric brothers and Ash you say?," says the man in the stand.
"Wait. I do know that name!"
"The Fullmetal Alchemist. Edward Elric! Is that right?"
Edward has his eyes closed so he doesn't know that Al's getting all the compliments. I hold in a laugh as I poke his shoulder, "Oh poor Ed..."
"No. It's not me," Al informs truthfully. The people surrounding Al then look over at us. I point over to Ed.
"What? You mean it's the little guy then?," uh oh......
And with that, Ed gets mad. "Who's little! Come say that to my face! I dare ya'!"
"Dammit Ed! Calm down!," I yell at him. He pouts and mutters a 'fine'. The people, scared and on the floor, slightly cower.
"So, what's with this guy in the radio?," asks Ed.
"That- that's our leader. Father Cornello," answers the man that owns the stand.
"So this guys claiming he can bring the dead back to life?"
"Apparently," I respond Ed.
"Well that's something I gotta see."
I sigh and nod. Obviously we are going to get to the bottom of this. I just hope this time the brothers will be more careful. But I doubt that's gonna happen.
