Your POV

Your heels clacked against the concrete, echoing around the small building. You reached the door, pushing it open. A unpleasant screeching noise coming from it.

You were met by a beautiful sunset, the shades of pink and orange blended together creating a masterpiece. You stepped forward, now focusing on what was in front of you.

A little table with two seats was in the middle, fairy lights strung around the fake plants and wooden polls. You saw Polaroid photos hanging up around the place, memories to be looked back at. Cute little candles were arranged around the place, lighting up.

A record player sat in the corner, playing a soft romantic tune. You smiled, looking around in admiration. You walked over to the Polaroid area, photos of you and Dan igniting memories. You clipped one off, looking at it fondly.

It was both of you at Disney World, him holding you in his arms in front of the castle. You looked back at the sunset, feeling like you were back at the castle. You closed your eyes feeling his touch around you, it made you feel safe...

You opened your eyes, putting the picture back before picking another one up. It was a picture of Dan dancing with you, happiness written on both of your faces. A bright grin formed on your features, before putting it back.

You looked back at the sunset, the colours beginning to get brighter. A fluorescent  pink was now smuggled into the beautiful blend of orange and pink. You stood alone, the air dropping a bit in temperature.

"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?"

A voice broke the comforting silence, making you jump. You turned around, greeted by Dan in a suit. "Says you, handsome." You smiled, walking over to him. "Did you do this alone?" You asked, kissing his cheek.

"No, it was stressful to do it by myself. Phil helped with organising it and God I am thankful." He answered, sighing deeply before swiftly wrapping his arms around you and pulling you closer.

"You didn't have to stress yourself out over an anniversary, I wouldn't have minded just a movie night and an ice-cream binge." You smiled, looking into his eyes. "It's our 4 year anniversary, well 6 if you count us being friends."

"Why are you so... weird tonight?" You giggled, slightly putting distance between you two. "What do you mean?" He asked, his face dropping. "I didn't mean it in a bad way, you seem nervous and too formal for Dan," You answered, cupping his cheeks.

"Is something wrong?" You asked, tilting your head with curiosity. "No, nothing's wrong." He answered, pulling away being a bit blunt. You just nodded, and followed Dan over to the table.

He put his hands on the table, sighing. "Don't be nervous Dan, it's just another date. It's fine, I'm not judging." You put your hand on his, calming him down. "You're right, I'm sorry." He said before handing you a piece of paper.

"Care to have a romantic dinner while the sun sets?" He asked, a lopsided smile on his face making you smile. "Don't mind If I do," you answered, politely taking the piece of paper from his grasp.

You opened it looking at the selections of food and drinks. "Wow, you really went all out." You smiled, looking over your menu into his enchanting brown eyes. "Yeah..." he muttered, seeming as if he was in a trance by looking at you.

You turned your attention back to the menu, looking at the meals. 'Creamy Chicken Alfredo: Alfredo sauce, fresh tender chicken, bacon, mushroom, and delicious Parmesan cheese.'
