Your POV

Your eyes fluttered open, your eyes adjusting to the darkness. You rolled over looking at the clock, 2 am was written in big red glowing numbers. You groaned slightly before noticing Dan was gone.

You jumped to your feet immediately, doing up your hair quickly making it look slightly neater. You opened the door, walking around the apartment hearing only your feet. You finally walked downstairs, heading towards the kitchen cautiously.

That's when you saw him in the kitchen, seeing him sitting on the bench looking out of the window. The chilly air hit your skin, sending shivers up your spine.

He admitted to being an insomniac when you became close, but you had never seen one of the events in action. You could tell he way sad by the way of his body language.

You walked towards him, letting out a small quiet yawn in the process. "Dan?" You saw him jump, turning around before noticing it was you. "What's wrong?" You asked, putting your elbows on the counter looking out the window. You gave him a side glance as he got off the ledge next to you, mocking your position.

"Couldn't sleep," he mumbled. You wrapped a arm around him. "Sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" You asked, confused. He stood up letting out a deep sigh, running a hand through his hair obviously stressed. "For everything," he answered making you turn all of your attention to him.

"I'm sorry that I'm not a good boyfriend and that I always procrastinate about everything, and I drag you down with me all the time. You get caught up in my problems, and I'm always loud and annoying." He ranted, looking away. "You deserve bet-"

You cut him off by kissing him, and your arms wrapping around him. You pulled away, looking to his eyes. "I know I can't change the way you see yourself, but you are not what you think. Not to me. All your little "flaws" I love them all, you make me so happy. You're pretty, handsome as fuck. I chose you for a reason, Daniel. I love you and it's as simple as that. I know you're the one for me, and I'm here to support you through everything. No, I don't deserve better. You are everything I've ever wanted, Daniel. I fucking love you and I hate hearing you say this shit, I hate knowing that you think this stuff about yourself." You began to get teary at the end, looking directly into his eyes.

"So don't say that I deserve better, because I love every single thing about you." You finished quietly, sniffing and wiping your tears away quickly. "Fuck, stop." He whispered.

"Doing what?"

"Saying the right things all the time," He places two fingers underneath your chin, tilting your face up. His intense brown eyes followed yours for a minute, like he was observing every aspect of you. "I really don't deserve you."

"This isn't about deserving," You replied holding his hand, rubbing your thumb over his knuckle. "I love you. It's simple." You shrugged, looking over at him with a toothy smile.

He grabbed your other hand and pulled you closer, his breath fanned your lips. You placed your hands on his chest and slid them upwards towards his collarbones and up his neck, cold against his warm skin. A soft tremor went through his body at the contact. Your hands reached the back of his nape, burying your hands into his hair. He pulled you closer, if that was humanly possible, your tip of your nose touching his own.

Your boyfriend, impatient for contact, pressed his lips against yours. You kissed back, melting together. Your hands cupped his cheeks, his arms wrapping around you making you feel secure.

Your lips fit together like puzzle pieces, his thumbs rubbing circles into your hips. You felt your lungs begging for air, leaving you to pull away. You both tried to catch your breath, stilling holding each other.

"Hey, do you wanna have a snow fight?" You smiled cheekily, nodding your head over to the window.

"Hell yeah!"
