Calum:

"So," you tried starting up a conversation with him and he just smiles at you, making your heartbeat race in just a second. "So," he repeats, adjusting the maroon-colored beanie on his head. You were currently at your house with Calum, and you've been sitting in awkward silence for about an hour now. You were supposed to be working on your project but you just couldn't bring yourself to speak up. He just does weird things to your heart, and you didn't know what it was that made him seem so special to you. He just makes your heart flutter and knees go weak just by being there - his mere presence would make your heart race, and you didn't know how anyone could possibly have this effect on you. He looks up at you, and locks his gaze on yours. Looking up at his chocolate colored eyes, your breath caught in your throat as you took a second to admire his tanned face. He was just flawless and you really envied his cheekbones. "The first thing we need to do is like get to know each other right?" he asked, as he smiled at you. You blinked, looking away as you nodded, to hide the blush forming on your cheeks. "You first," you muttered and he hummed, thinking of something. "Basic stuff I guess, my whole name is Calum Thomas Hood, I was born on January 25, 1996 and I'm currently sixteen. I'm in a band called 5 Seconds of Summer, and I really like puppies." he laughed, nudging me. "Your turn," you bit your lip and began telling Calum all about yourself, starting from your whole name, to the day you were born, to your favorite color and hobbies. Once the basic stuff was over and done with, he suggested to dig a little deeper. "Strengths and weaknesses," he grins and you watched as he pulled his beanie off and adjusted his hair once more, before setting the beanie back onto his head. "I'm really good at writing music and playing guitar, but I'm really bad at school work and all that shit. And I'm really bad at girls," he admits and laughs as soon as the words escape his mouth. You looked at him in disbelief, gaping, "No way, you're lying. You can't be bad at girls, I see you hanging out with girls everyday!" You hit him playfully and he laughed, "I may like girls a whole lot, but like flirting with them and all that is something I haven't mastered yet. I only talk to them, but flirting is something I couldn't do freely," he giggles. "Besides, I couldn't just flirt with a girl just because I find her attractive. I don't like leading girls on, I actually just prefer flirting with someone I really like," he continues. You knitted your eyebrows together and asked out of curiosity, "Is there anyone you like?" He paused, and a few seconds later, he just shrugged. "I'm not sure, but I think I'm starting to," you could feel his gaze on you and you looked down, in an attempt to hide your face from him again. You knew very well that it wasn't you, but you couldn't help but want it to be you. "She's lucky," you comment and he nods, smirking. "She's gorgeous too." He tucked a loose strand of hair behind your cheek and you met his gaze once more. "And she's right in front of me,"

Ashton:

You looked up and hazel-colored eyes met yours. "A-Ashton," you stuttered, looking away from his beautifully colored eyes and turning your attention to the chapter of your lesson. You were now sitting in your bedroom floor with Ashton, who has been smiling at you for a few minutes now. The weekend finally rolled around, which meant that you had to go and tutor Ashton, and you were as nervous as hell. You found out that Ashton's in a popular band with a few other younger guys in a different school, which made him significantly more attractive in your eyes. He was the drummer, which explained his slight huge arms and you noticed him drumming the table every now and then. "So, Y/N, what are we going to study about first?" He looked up at me with those beautiful eyes once more, as his deep dimple pops out from his cheek. You looked down at the book and you bit the inside of your cheek, knowing you couldn't concentrate on tutoring him at all because of his mere presence. As if talking to boys wasn't hard enough, but he just had to be this attractive? You cannot handle this at all, you couldn't concentrate, all you wanted to do right now was just talk to him, then push him up against a wall and kiss him. Wait, no, that escalated quickly. He was really attractive, and he's making your heart do weird things whenever he's around. You couldn't tell if it was because you were nervous, or if it was because you actually liked him. You wanted to deny the fact that you liked him so bad because you knew liking someone would only mean a distraction, and you couldn't afford distractions now that you were graduating very soon. Love can wait, you kept saying to yourself and managed to survive high school without a boyfriend because you were so awkward around guys. But this is probably the first time you probably felt something for a guy, and it's probably the first time you actually talked to a guy before. "History," you tell him, flipping the page and he giggles. "You're so adorable!" he says as he reaches out to pinch your cheeks. Your eyes widened at his sudden gesture and you found yourself blushing. He was just so close and he looked so adorable so you decided to get revenge - you pinched his cheeks as he pinched yours, and you giggled. "You're even cuter!" you cooed, laughing along with Ashton. You two stopped and looked at each other, before bursting into laughter. That's probably the first time this happened, and you found yourself comfortable with Ashton a few hours later. You tutored him the entire afternoon, taking a few breaks here and there, and whenever it was break time, you two would just fool around and be weird together. Throughout the next few weeks, you repeated this routine and you grew closer and closer to Ashton, and before you know it, you became best friends and before you know it, graduation was right around the corner.
