Calum:
"How long are they gonna be away?" Your boyfriend asked as he pulled you in for a cuddle. You hummed upon feeling his arm wrap around you, taking in his warmth. Your parents have left two days ago to go on a trip, and won't be back until Monday, so basically you had two more days to have the house all by yourself. "We still have two more days, Cal. Don't worry about it," You smiled, brushing your lips against his, making him pout. Calum has only been your boyfriend for about two weeks and a half, but he's the sweetest boy you've ever been with. He's literally done everything to make you smile, and you couldn't even ask for more in a boy. He's just so precious, and so damn perfect that you don't even know how he even exists. You don't know how you managed to end up with someone as flawless as Calum Hood, but all you know is that you're glad that he choose you, out of all the girls out there. "I'm not, I'm just asking. I really wanna meet your parents soon," He smiles. Although you have been dating for two weeks now, Calum has yet to meet your parents. "You will soon," You snuggled up to him, and he began to draw random shapes on your back with his finger. He began to hum to you, and your eyes grew heavier and heavier every passing moment, and the next thing you knew, you were about to fall asleep. "Y/N?" Your eyes shot open and you gasped when you saw your parents standing in the doorway, looking very displeased. "B-but I thought you weren't coming back until Monday!" You stuttered, looking away from them. "Well, we came back early and now we find out that you've been keeping secrets from us," your mum says, as she gestures towards a blushing Calum. "Have you fucked-" "No, dad, stop!" You yelled, your cheeks heating up. "No, we haven't. M-mum, dad, I'm sorry I haven't told you about him yet, but this is Calum. He's my boyfriend, and we've only started dated recently," You pointed towards Calum, who seemed to have regained his composure and waves at your parents. Your parents looked a little shocked and a little upset, so you chewed on your bottom lip nervously. You really wanted them to like him, because you have never met anyone as sweet as Calum. He was perfect, and you didn't want to let him go. "It's so nice to meet you Calum," your mum says with a huge smile on her face. She goes over to hug Calum, which he returned awkwardly. "Take care of our little princess alright?" Your dad pats Calum's shoulder, and of course, Calum nodded. You watched as your parents left the room, leaving you and Calum alone once more. "I can't believe they just accepted you," You grinned, sitting on his lap so you were straddling him. He smiled, the pink in his cheeks became visible. "Actually, your mum and my mum are friends. She actually knows me," he laughs, pressing a soft kiss onto your lips.
Ashton:
You held onto your little brother's tiny hand firmly, as he tried to run towards the two children playing. You glanced over at him, and he shoots you a pout, "I wanna go," he says, pointing to the children giggling as they play catch with a rubber ball. "No," You say, sticking your tongue out at him. Your mother pats his head, and sighs, "Come on, you two. Stop that." You were in the mall with your mum, and your little brother as it was "family time", so to say. You were utterly bored, as your mum left you in charge of your hyperactive kid brother, as she went off to buy the things we needed at home. She checks the list of things we needed, and sighed, pinching her nose with a huff. "I'm gonna have to go to the lingerie store to buy a new bra-" "Mum, you don't have to tell me that!" You screeched, grimacing. Your mum just chuckles and places her hand on your shoulder, "Stay with your brother. Call me if something happens, alright?" You nodded lazily and watched as she turned to head to the lingerie section. You began to wander around the mall with your brother's hand in yours, and you got really bored of just walking around. "Y/N, is that you?" You heard someone say, which made you turn to look at whoever called your name. You cursed inwardly at seeing someone you know from school, you forgot her name but you remember her face. "Hey," you forced a small smile, not wanting to talk to people outside of school. "Oh my god, it's so cool bumping into you! How have you been?" She asked, and you scratched the back of your head, awkwardly trying to get out of the conversation without being mean. She then started to ramble on and on about something you couldn't give two shits about, and you gasped upon realizing that you were no longer holding your brother's hand. "Shit! I have to go," You tell the random girl, and left her behind. You searched frantically for your brother, calling his name every now and then, but after about ten minutes, you gave up. "Y/N!" You heard a familiar voice call your name, and you turned to see your little brother in the arms of none other than your boyfriend, Ashton. You also see your mum smiling beside him and smirked, "Y/N, you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend?" You bit your lip and put your hand on Ashton's arm, "Mum, I forgot to tell you - this is my boyfriend, Ashton. And Ashton, this is my mum." You introduced them to each other, and Ashton nodded with a huge grin on his face. "We already met. Your mum approves of us, by the way." Your mum nods with a laugh, "And you two would make really cute children, I'm sure gonna have attractive grandchildren."
Luke:
"I'm nervous," he whispers as he sat down onto the seat beside yours. Today was the day he was to meet your family, because your parents invited him over for dinner. He even cleaned himself up - removing the piercing for tonight, he made sure he wore his Nirvana shirt, because you hinted that your father loved Nirvana. It was a lie though, you only wanted to see him in the Nirvana shirt because it was your favorite. He was also on his best behaviour today, which surprised you a little bit. He even brought his guitar along with him, you have no idea why he brought it along though. "Don't be, they'll love you," You pecked his cheek, then shot him a smile. He gave you one back, causing you to giggle a little bit. "I'm guessing you're Luke?" Your father came in, taking his seat beside your mum's, keeping his eyes trained on your boyfriend, who shifted in his seat uncomfortably. Poor Luke looked terrified being stared down by your father, so you shoot your dad a look. He sighed and you knew he was just being cautious around the boy, because he didn't even know him that well yet. "I heard you were in a band, Luke?" Your father asked, and Luke nodded with a small smile. "Yes I am sir," he replied politely. "So, that means you had to drop out of school?" He raised his eyebrows at Luke, but Luke just grins at him, playing with his fingers. "Um, I still get homeschooled on tour sir, so technically, I'm still in school," he shrugged, your father smiling at his answer, obviously impressed. "School while touring, that sounds amazing Lucas. Have you always wanted to be in a band?" You breathed out a sigh in relief, knowing that your father has begun to warm up to him, as he wasn't looking at him like he was some kind of unwanted object in the room. He even began a casual conversation with him, which obviously meant that he has begun to win him over. Your mother came in with the finished spaghetti and meatballs, and you all talked over dinner. Once dinner was over, it was clear that your parents had warmed up to Luke, as they began to laugh about the shenanigans during the tour. "Oh, umm, if it's okay with you, can I please sing a song for your daughter?" He stood up and grabbed his guitar, which made your cheeks redden. He brought his guitar to sing for you in front of your parents, and that is literally the cutest thing anyone's ever done for you. He began to sing Wonderwall, and it was one of your all time favorites. You listened to how he sang every word, and you could feel the emotion behind his voice. He loved you, and you loved him back, that's when you realize that he was the best thing that ever happened to you. Once he was done, he set the guitar onto the corner, and you tackled him, showering him with kisses while muttering an "I love you," between each one.
Michael:
"I'm nervous," you say as you plopped down onto your couch. "What if they don't like you? What if they don't approve of you? What if they don't approve of us? What if they ask us to break up? What if-" You were shut up by Michael's finger and he gave you a warm smile. He takes your hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze, and he'd pat your head saying, "Shh, don't think like that. They're gonna like me, and they're gonna like us together. I just know it," His words gave you reassurance, and there was this spark of hope in your heart, praying that your parents would like him. He kissed the top of your head, making you relax and the nerves disappeared, as if they were never there in the first place. You hear someone clear their throat from behind you, causing Michael to pull away and for you to whip your head around, to see your mother looking at him disdainfully. This wasn't a good sign, you thought as you ushered Michael into the dining room. Your father was sitting in his usual place, with your mum now sitting beside him. You took your usual seat directly across your mother, and Michael sat down in the empty seat beside you, which was directly across your father's. Your hand grew cold and sweaty, because you knew your father doesn't approve of Michael, judging from the way he looked at him from across the table. Michael gave your hand another reassuring squeeze, making you smile a bit. "Good evening, ma'am, sir." Michael nodded with a smile, and your mother also smiled. "Good evening, Michael," She says. "We've heard so much about you from Y/N," she continued, glancing at me. "Do you have a job, son?" Your father cut in, and you squeezed Michael's hand. He squeezed back and smiled, "Um, I'm the guitarist for this band called 5 Seconds of Summer," Your father's eyes widened a little before he asked, "5 Seconds of Summer? You're in that band?" You realize that your father might have heard about the band, because you have mentioned it to him once or twice, and he's seen some of their music videos on TV and heard some of their songs. He doesn't tell you about his opinion on them though. "Yes sir," Michael answers, which causes your father to break into a smile. "Well, this may sound a bit strange, but I really love your music. You lads are very passionate about your music, and I can see how hard you work everyday. And I was in a band once, when I was younger, and I commend you for following your dreams son." He laughs, making you sigh in relief. Your mum never mentioned this to you at all, which actually is a surprise for you. You spend the rest of the night talking to your parents and Michael about music, their album and their plans, and the feeling of happiness erupted in you because your parents grew to love Michael, just as you did.
