Zeref was walking in a park when he spotted a soft pink and yellow flower. It shined too bright and stood out compared to the other flowers; in his opinion. He couldn't stand the sight of it, so he chose to get rid of it.
"Sir, please don't destroy that flower!" A stranger begged.
The man looked back, but refused to shrink the ball of darkness he held in his right hand.
"Mr, please don't destroy that flower!" A kid yelled.
He didn't pause his actions.
"Sir, please don't destroy that flower! If you do, you'll kill her!"
He halted in his actions but still didn't cancel his spell nor take his eyes off the flower.
"Kill who?" The man demanded to know.
"Mavis-," the mayor began.
"Mavis what?" The wizard growled, impatient.
"Vermillion," the old man finished.
It was at that moment Zeref released his spell.
