Speeding up my pace, I begin to close my eyes. Shivers run down my spine as an eerie silence envelops the world around me.
The sound of the wind passing by whilst I ran in random shapes through the graveyard. The sound of me inhaling, panting, was all one could possibly hear.
It was barely a few seconds before the voice clouded my thoughts again.
Do you know the dangers lurking around?
The secrets that shouldn't be found?
It's nothing wonderful, you know.
Just run, don't stay for the show.
The words that rhymed were very prominent as there wasn't a single couplet in the voice's last verse. Curiosity flowed through my body and deep down, I wanted to know who was contacting me in such a mysterious way. But while one small part of me is curious, the rest is trembling in fear.
In fear of the unknown.
